Ordered wallpaper without reading reviews unfortunately. When it didn't come, and the company failed to answer any messages, or even pick up the phone, I investigated and found numerous similar stories. They only pick up the phone when you dial from a different number, presumably in the hope of 'selling' more wallpaper. Excuses were made, exactly as for others. When I said I now wished to cancel, he agreed straightaway, no quibbling. But of course, no refund was forthcoming, so had to hand matters over to credit card company.

Hi there, did you get a chance to recover funds at all? I am considering a small claims procedure. Ordered for roughly 1,500 in February this year...

My order (about £650) was on my VISA card so they have refunded me and are pursuing it on their own behalf. Good luck

Sadly, I, along with three other ladies, was employed by this company. They closed without notice owing myself and my colleagues wages, holiday pay etc. I knew something was very wrong within a few weeks of working there and tried my best to get things improved but they deceived all of us - they sold the company on (to Acquisitions Limited based in London) even BEFORE I started working for them and never told us! We were deceived and mislead. We have tried to recover monies through ACAS but they have proved pretty ineffective with no power to force the new owners to do anything. We are all four now out of work, struggling to pay bills and the two directors get to walk away from that. I hope you have more success in recovering monies owed to you than we have.
