This is my second year visiting Bohol Vantage resort, a 14-room hillside hotel a few miles from Alona Beach, Tagbilaran, and tourist sites. High above the sea, this resort escapes mosquitoes and is on the shady side of the afternoon sun. There is an excellent restaurant for walk-ins and guests, plus occasional business people holding meetings or seminars. We had the best time booking one of the Sailpanglao trips for snorkelling, dolphin watching and just having beach fun on various islands. While Bohol Vantage is quiet and relaxing, nearby on the hilltop is Bohol Plaza which features rock bands seven nights a week, so there is entertainment close at hand. To me, the best feature of Bohol Vantage is the well-trained and caring staff.
