Disorganised Mess

I thought that organising the hen do through Maximise would have given us a smooth and hassle free day, unfortunately I was sorely let down. When we arrived at the hotel in Swindon to check in the hotel staff could not find us, turns out that none of the rooms were booked under my name (the organiser). When we went for our spa treatments we were registered as being booked in, however none of our treatment options had been given to the staff. 3 members of our group were only coming for the day and not staying over night, but they had trouble getting into the spa despite the fact they had paid. At dinner 9 of us had paid for a 3 course dinner, but the hotel tried to give us the full bill, then we were told that we only had £17.50 allocated per head (this was not stated anywhere by Maximise or by the hotel staff), and then that only 6 of us had paid as again the 3 not staying the night had not been registered as eating. Finally we were given a room for the butler in the buff to entertain us, but there were no curtains in the room, prompting a complaint from a hotel guest who was not happy at seeing everything through the window.



Overall the day was full of errors thanks to the communication between the Maximise team and the Village Hotel in Swindon. It would have been better organised to have cut you out and arranged the day myself.
