Very poor quality

Bought this trough a newspaper ad in February 2014 4 months later the locking nuts (2) won't tighten to keep it extended,phoned company that supplied it (mysmartbuy.com) now in liquidation I was told so I phone deck an and they wanted me to purchase the pieces, I suggested they should supply under 1 year warranty, said they would contact me within 24 hours, so 3 days later they haven't ,I don't think they are interested in keeping their customers happy or keeping there end of the bargain, so it seems it was a waste of money. I would certainly advise anyone not to buy this product.
