I cut quite a few lawns + now sometimes carry the shears instead of a strimmer, I only recommend them if the edges & lawns are quite well kept in the first place. the battery lasts long enough for me anyway & charges quickly. They may jam if u try cutting the edges of a field, but ideal for well looked after lawns. i like them.

The Bosch Isio Cordless Edging Shears is under powered and flimsy. If you have a bowling green and need to edge might be OK but for a normal it is rubbish. Jams at every opportunity, pushes grass aside in preference to cutting it. Expensive. Don't waste your money. Buy a decent strimmer instead.

Another review I read about these Bosch Isio Cordless Edging Shears said that it was only good to trim a window-box - and this was spot on!
It is small, underpowered, and eye-wateringly expensive. There is an optional additional small "grass-cutter", which would be good for grass in a small container, if such exists, and a long handle for using the device standing up. The handle wobbles about and the cutter comes away from it at the first sign of resistance on, say, the edge of a lawn. The whole set-up comes in at over £70, and I feel as though I should have my head examined for not sending it all back immediately.
