Amitamin Hair Plus Is The Best Of The Lot!
Sorry I haven’t been back for a while. I won’t bother you with the details, but the first 6 six months of this year were very tough for me. In November last year I started losing hair for no apparent reason! By February my scalp began to shine through, which set me off into a depression spiral - the winter season did not help.. and it took me a couple of months to recover. Thankfully my depression was “only” hair related. Today, I want to share with you what helped me.
I didn’t want to go to the doctor or worse a hair clinic and I figured it couldn’t be hormonal, because nothing else was wrong with me. I have been using the same shampoo for years so that couldn’t have been the reason either. Work was busy and I was eating a lot of microwave food. I figured I actually hadn’t eaten well for a while so I decided to cut down on the ready-meals and look at supplements rather than try different shampoos and oils.
I also knew I had to do this for a few months at least and realised I would have to spend a little bit.. but I wanted my hair and “me" back.. at least to stop it from falling out as it was driving me crazy every time I looked at my hair brush! I was ready to spend some money, but I wanted to make sure it was not on empty marketing promises. Money is tight and I don’t really buy on impulse so I set out to do some serious research first.
To cut a long story short I found that amitamin Hair Plus gave me the most bang for my buck. Here is why:
Nutrients: Once I started looking into it I was shocked when I realised how many different herbs, oils, antioxidants amino acids and what have you we can buy for our hair. And they all promise you eternal beauty LOL. Before I spend money I always look at reviews and some sort of proof so I first came across Priorin by BAYER, which did a decent study top prove it's own effectiveness.. I never really trust those, but it was a starting point. They claim that millet extract, the amino acid cysteine and vitamin B5 actually reverses hair loss. I then started to look more closely at the nutrient lists and found that most of the hair supplements are just smoke and mirrors trying to sell you very little substance for a load of money.
The science of hair growth basically says you need to have a healthy body to have healthy hair. This includes normal hormones and a good diet. It makes sense from an evolutionary perspective, because nice hair means it is a healthy person with good genes to mate with. But I digress :-)
I am not a scientist, but from what I have read you basically need antioxidants like vitamin C, E and grape seed extract to protect the roots. Biotin and folic acid to help cell division and basically growth. Amino acids are the building blocks for the hair and for better circulation. Extra iron to make sure there is no deficiency (+it's good for your energy) and copper apparently stops it from greying. When I realised I need to take so much stuff for my hair I thought it might be cheaper to buy it all separately on amazon, but found it made very little difference in price and I would be taking 10 pills per day instead of 1. Also, with a dedicated pill I always know exactly how much I have left.
Out of the all the ones that I looked at I found that amitamin Hair Plus and tricologic man / hairfollic man by vitabiotics had the best nutrients, but Hair Plus was far cheaper!
Price: With Hair Plus you get 60 capsules for 30 days, i.e. two per day for £20 per month. Easy. With hairfollic man you get 30 tablets and you are supposed to take 3 per day. It also cost £20 per box, but will only last you 10 days. So you are looking at three boxes per month for a total of £60!
Substitutes and Competition: You can buy scalp cremes, shampoos, conditioners, oils and medicines for your hair. Some are scientifically proven, but most are not. There are lots of different causes for hair loss so you might need different treatment. I don’t mind spending £20 for something that I believe in where I know I get lots of good nutrients. Also I can just stick to my normal shampoo and don’t need to spend extra and try out new ones I don’t know and necessarily trust.
In terms of other supplements there are quite a few like Hair Essentials by Natural Wellbeing, pantogar by Merz Pharmaceuticals, Priorin by BAYER and Inneov by Nestlé & L’Oréal, but the only one, which is similar to amitamin Hair Plus is formerly tricologic man, now hairfollic man by VITABIOTICS, however at twice the price so it is a no-brainer.
Buying it: I always buy it in the amitamin online shop. I pay with PayPal and get the package with DHL tracking after 3, max 4 days. 6 months gets me free shipping and I am in it for the long run anyway. Also for the price I am happy to keep on taking it on an ongoing basis, because I dont need to shell out on expensive shampoos.
Losing so much hair was horrific. I did lose some after I head my first boy, but nothing like this when I lost all of my confidence. I now eat a lot better (certainly no ready meals any more :-)) and my hair is recovering. My scalp shines through much less now since I have been taking amitamin Hair Plus. Highly recommended.

Love My Hair With Amitamin Hair Plus
I knew I had androgenetic hair loss, because my hair was thinning out massively after I had my first child. I love my little boy to bits, but had a pretty tough time adjusting to the new life and I started to get a crown on my head with my scalp shining through! This type of hair loss affects men and women equally, although it can be much more pronounced in women. I did some research and found out that often we stop producing hair, because of an oversensitivity to DHT, a type of testosterone, which again occurs in men and women.
The good thing about androgenetic hair loss is that your roots are still able to produce hair if you manage to reactivate them. In my case I think it was a mix of all the 21 nutrients in Hair Plus, which give our body everything it needs to grew new hair. I my case I think the grape seed extract must have reduced my sensitivity to DHT.
I have been taking it for 7 months now and am so so happy, because my hairdresser confirmed last week that she can see new hair growing. I can also see much less of my scalp! I will definitely keep taking it, because I need nice hair to feel good about myself. I also just discovered that when you buy six months you get free shipping (i.e. basket value over £100) and you pay 30% less per month (£19.95), which is good value especially compared to some of the big brand alternatives like Priorin and Inneov. These are much more expensive and have lees nutrients. Ordering online and paying with PayPal is really easy and it comes delivered with DHL in just a few days.
If you are not happy with your hair, take Hair Plus for six months and see what happens. Chances are you will start to love it again!
