reading the reviews on the challenge planer people are satified with the machine but the problem is when the blades are really damaged you cannot replace them i have looked all over the net a lot of ads say they have them but when you click on the ad they do not WHY

The blades that came on my Challenge Planer are double sided, so, when they become damaged or blunt simply turn them over.
Also, they are a standard 80mm blade. You can buy replacements in B & Q, Screwfix, etc, I paid £10.49 for a pair of Bosch Double Edged replacement blades. Replacement is a ten minute job, but do wear tough gardening gloves as the blades are very sharp.

hi Grianane's thank you for your input I did not think that other makes would fit but as I was looking for a friend who took the machine back and replaced with another brand
