We have just been to the restaurant this evening,and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.We had excellent service as usual, and would gladly recommend to friends and family.Lookman and Haroon are very efficient and friendly.We wish them every success in their new ownership.Look forward to our next visit.Do try the cocktails .they are delicious.Well Done to all the staff.

i thought i would add my view of the new indian restraunt that has opened in bolton. first of all i would like to say congradulations to the owner, for giving us this fine indian restraunt! I always give credit were it's due! cinnamon is a swanky joint with delicious fresh food. Not to mention very reasonable prices! very friendly, and helpfull staff.
i will surely be visiting again soon... colin b.

I had heard good things about the restaurant but the reality couldnt have been more different. Upon arrival, we were asked to take a seat in the lounge by staff who appeared rather unwelcoming. We were then left for at least ten minutes with no one giving us menus or taking a drinks order. This was despite the fact the restaurant was rather quiet. When we finally got a table we ordered some popadoms but the waiter completely forgot to take our order and we were left for another 15 minutes. It had to be said, dealing with the waiter was liking pulling teeth, having to ask for everything at least twice. As for the food, the idea of tapas is to share. One piece of meat on a plate swamped with cheap salad is not good enough.
All in all the restaurant was a massive disappointment and if it wasn't for the groupon deal would have been terrible value for money. Terrible service and poor food does not entice return customers. The owners need to shape up fast or this restaurant will be an expensive flop. I'm quite dubious about some of the reviews on here, if you look on trip advisor you get quite a different picture.

I have eaten at Cinnamon Restaurant 3 times within the last month. The food and service is excellent, both the tapas menu and fine dining menu are of exceptional quality and very reasonably priced.
The decor is fabulous and you would be mistaken for thinking you were dining at some swanky manchester/london restaurant. I cannot fault this restaurant at all and have recommended it too many of my friends + work colleagues. Can't wait to go again.

plush. no rail on stairs for the elderly. seemed they had no idea of vegetarian or vegan diets/dishes. suprising for indian restaurant.

so sorry because we used to eat there 3 times a week before new owners.
lets hope it improves. Pal wwnt last night and waited two hours for food!

me and my partner decided to try the new cinnamon restaurant in bolton.. as we love indian food and also like to try new places.. on entering the building i noticed how clean and fresh the place was.. which is always a good sign! i must say i was very impressed with the deco!! after we ordered our food we decided to try the cocktails... i'm not a massive lover of cocktails.. but they really were very nice.. the food arrived very warm and was very tasty indeed.. i must recommend the chicken tikha starter and the aubergine fritter... mmm.. mouth watering... i found the staff very polite and smart.. always happy to help. overall i had a lovely night at cinnamon the prices were very reasonable. i shall be returning very soon.

Great food and good atmosphere.

Hello on looking at the review i am unsure if this person was actually in the saame restaraunt. I have now eaten here on several occasions and found the staff fun and freindly as well as very welcoming. The whole area is very impressive with a nice elagance and flair. The tapas Menu and the dinner menu is extensive and the Cocktails are some of the best i have ever tasted.
If you are looking at going out for some nice food with a nice atmophere i would reccomend this restaraunt. Its new and fun with fabulous food.

I hope you enjoy as much as i did with my friends.

After attending both opening nights of Cinnamon in Bolton, I can say that both I and others that accompanied me, were fully satisfied.

For the opening night, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere amazing.

Both the staff and management were clearly under quite a bit of stress, so staff were a little unorganised, but a few teething problems are expected with an opening of a new restaurant. But this in no way affected my experience at Cinnamon. I would recommend Cinnamon to my friends and family anyday!

If you do not attend Cinnamon you will be missing out on an amazing night. The design was wonderful and think a lot of thought and effort was put into it. Also i was reasonably impressed at the price of the food as we got alot for what we had ordered. I would like to imply that the onion bhaji's were terrific!


There is more room for improvement and will definately be returning to see how these these improvements have been made. Which i am sure they will be.
