I bought this trolley about 16 months ago. I can only say I have had endless issues with it from day 1. The splines in the handle mechanism where badly worn, (I bought it from motora ebay, advertised as new/demo condition) I recut them with a thin hacksaw blade, and they hold okay now. (very bad design fault) The front wheel mechanism cannot be tightened and kept coming loose so the cart would not go in a straight line. Also the front wheel is just far to small, a real design fault, so I made a new mechanism from a old trolley and fitted a larger wheel, which now runs really well. The battery when I bought it, would only last 3 holes, fortunately Motora sent me a new one. And last but not least, the wheel hubs in the large driving wheels slip on the drive shaft on any incline or slope, so as a result the trolley will not move forward at all, they just slip on the shaft. I bought this trolley for my wife as a birthday present, and I am so ashamed, as she cannot use it because there is so much wrong with it.

3 months out of guarantee, and caught out in a light shower doing 9 holes, water got into the control board, located, and very poorly sealed at the bottom of the trolley. Board burnt out, on asking for a replacement from Motora was quoted £150. In my opinion, as a expert engineer and long time golfer a remote control is totally unnecessary and simply adds to complications with no advantage whatsoever.

I can only vouch for the push version, but it is TOP quality... i absolutely love it. I am a bit of an engineering nerd (my own family business manufactures electro-mechanical products in the healthcare market), and i just love the design, simplicity and build quality of the Motora trolley. Great little company

Motora appears to be selling their old obsolete stock on ebay for trolleys M1 sprint for which you will probably never find repair parts as their new models are very different be carefull when you bid

I recently bought the Motora M1 Remote Control Golf Trolley - Ultimate Package Deal. I can honestly say it is the best trolley that I've ever had. I've been a golfer for 20 years and had a few remote control trolleys in that time and have generally been disappointed with them. However, I called Motora Golf directly prior to purchase and really liked the sound of their product and decided to order their package deal as I liked the idea of having a fully co-ordinated set of golf gear. I was really impressed with all of it; the trolley was so responsive and the battery lasted me 3 rounds between charges. The bag was striking and very well made. I have received no end of comments and people asking me where I got it from. I can strongly recommend this trolley. At last a quality remote control golf trolley. Thank you.

Rossjeal's Response to Alcapone007's Review

I have the same M1 trolley and can sympathize with Alcapone007. I find the trolley very heavy whereas it was advertised as light weight.
The front wheel is far too small and would rapidly clog up with cut grass due to the minimal ground clearance which resulted. I bought a front wheel spare part designed for the later Motora M2 trolley and as an engineer had to modify the trolley to accept the larger wheel which is now satisfactory in operation.
The above complaint, that the large wheel hubs are slipping must surely be due to the absence of the pins located in the shafts which drive the wheels and should be located inside the black plastic hubs. remove the wheels and pull off the hubs to reveal the pins, if indeed they are fitted - which I doubt.
