Bulb have been my energy company for 4 years now and I honest think they are the best out there. Green energy, cheap and great service. If you use a code you will also get £50 for switching so it’s a win win. They will also it early redemption charges!!!

I have to say I am so impressed with the Customer Service at Bulb, I switched a few months ago after a friend gave me a link to have £50 credited to my fuel account. Signing up was very straight forward, and was done on my phone in a couple of minutes on the bus of all places. You just log in later to provide bank details and meter readings when they ask for them. They kept me informed of progress, and the money was put in my fuel account once the actual switchover had taken place. I am saving £20/month compared to British Gas Dual Fuel, and they use 100% renewable energy unlike some! What's not to like?

Energy company that fabricates massively exaggerated readings so they can overcharge you after you have been a customer for a while. Exploit customers by overcharging them when they do not check their bills. I had Bulb for a year and they were fine and then I notice that they stated I provided a reading which was over twice the estimate. I did not provide the reading whatsoever but instead of taking an average of £50 a month, they took £400! They simply stated that in winter months energy use goes up but the fact of the matter was that I did not provide the reading and going up 8 fold is ridiculous. After getting in contact with customer service they fabricated a story that they sent someone round to take reading. When I advised them that the meter was inside my house and locked and they would not have been able to gain access they changed their story advising that they sometimes use a third party to provide a reading and they must have been dishonest! No Bulb! At no point was any evidence provided by Bulb or any reading. You have stated I provided a reading when I didn’t and then concocted a ruse to justify your exploitative behaviour. I am taking this to the energy ombudsman as this is completely unacceptable! Update: The customer service rep was terrible, did not answer my questions, provided no evidence for what they stated and was more interested in justifying a massively over inflated bill through a series of statements which he changed to accommodate his story. Simply stated it must have been a rogue 3rd party that did the reading dishonestly that they were not aware of. Bulb does not live up to their claims with awful customer service and the constant need to check your bills to see they have not added hidden charges or bloated your bill when you do not expect it. Keep an eye on your bill otherwise it will cost you £000s Update: Bulb always responds to negative reviews here with the correct text only for reputation purposes as they fail to resolve or actually do anything about the underlying issue. They caused me massive inconvenience and provided stories about why they overcharged me 8 fold in my bills. They have removed all evidence of their fabricated reading and realigned their estimates to show that they were estimating accurately and this exaggerated reading never happened. Make sure you check you bills especially after you have been a customer for a while. Going to report their practices to the Energy ombudsman.

Excellent switch over and kept updated along the way, no problems since. Provided my first meter reading and said to send one again in approximately 3 months. I was recommended by a friend and we both received £50.00 credit.

I wanted to switch to a renewable energy company, and if possible save a little money at the same time. The saving was optional, but looking at the tariff I look to save 10% over the year vs my previous large supplier. Their Gas isn't 100% renewable, but their electricity is, and until I get solar this is my main energy usage and what I wanted to clean up. Switching is really easy, You get £50 credit when joining up, and so do I, which makes telling people about your positive experience genuinely beneficial, as you can easily get a few months of energy for free by picking up referral credits. The App they have is really nice, works great and has much more detail and info on it than my previous suppliers app. All in all so far I'm very pleased.

I've been with them for a year now and they have been the best so far. I recently received an email from them saying they have credited £10 to my account because I had waited on the phone for 11 minutes to speak to someone 3 weeks earlier. This is how companies should behave, I thought. They will pay any exit fees when you leave your old supplier. They have consistently been the cheapest for me for the last year. You get monthly email reminders about your direct debit due. If your account is in credit by more than your monthly direct debit you can request a refund. They offer the warm home discount. They also operate a referral system where you and the one refer can get £50 each added to your account when you sign up.

Just joined Bulb, having read positive reviews from the existing customers, having previously used Npower, Utility Warehouse, and my last supplier First Utility who billed me very high amount on its last bill, which forced me to look for alternatives and when I was disappointed unable to find any decent deal as cheaper and smaller providers lack good customer service, I was lucky to find Bulb energy, and heard nothing off the supplier, I did my due diligence and found out their unit rates are reasonable and the provide excellent customer services, and atm I can say their Electricity unit rates are cheapest, accordingly I was pursuaded to join bulb.According to experts at least once a year you should seek for new supplier instead of staying with one

I've been with Bulb for over a year now and having had no issues whatsoever I still thoroughly recommend them. Their tariff remains competitive and transparent and it's nice to use 100% renewable electricity. To celebrate my Bulbiversary (1 year with Bulb) they’re doubling my referral rewards from Thursday 13th December to Wednesday 19th December. Sign up to Bulb during that period via my referral link and we both get £100 FREE ACCOUNT CREDIT on your switch date: https://bulb.co.uk/refer/norman7115 Switch with my link outside the above dates and we'll both still get £50 account credit.

British Gas customer for years but with the many price increases I decided to go online and compare who the cheapest supplier was . That’s when I discovered Buleb was coming in way cheaper than the rest. Didn’t switch through the comparison website as found out if you used a link you could receive £50 credit. Very smooth switch over as once you complete your details bulb does the rest. I absolutely ❤️ bulb and very happy to say I’m saving £550 a year by switching gas and electricity to bulb. Feel free to use my link and to get a free quote to find out how much you can save . If you decide to switch you will get £50 credit when you use a link. https://join.bulb.co.uk/refer/orange123 Copy and paste bulb.co.uk/refer/orange123

Nearly 2 months since my swap and all going well - refund through from Eon and enjoying the Bulb life! Really sraightforward switching and no complicated tariffs that leave you questioning whether you got the best deal! No contract to worry about so if you do find a cheaper deal at any time you can walk away without penalty and they pay any penalties you're hit with if you leave your current provider early! Nothing to lose!

As only a recent joiner, when Bulb recently announced that they were raising their prices in November, I checked again to see how they compared with the other 'big 6' and they are still working out cheaper! With £50 credit for every new joiner who goes via a referral too, that should more than cover it and then some. Decide for yourself by going on comparison sites though as you have nothing to lose. Move and there is no penalty. Join and they pay any penalty imposed by your current supplier. A £50 credit is a £50 credit though so all in all, hard to beat.

I switched to Buld in July and so far haven't looked back. Yes they have recently announced price rises but so have most of the other energy providers. I will still be over £20 a month better off after the rises. My monthly bills have so far reflected my quote when I joined. Bulb uses greener, renewable energy and charges no exit fees. This to me shows honest as they are not trying to tie you in and make it difficult to leave. It took exactly 21 days to switch to bulb with no hassle. Bulb will pay any exit fees from your old provider up to £120.

The switch, the price, the customer service, the app - everything is smooth and easy! Definitely recommend. you can use a referral link to sign up and get £50 credit!

At last I have found a energy company with simple tariff structure. Prices are OK and now I haven`t got to keep signing up for a new contract each year. (Also i felt pressurized to get a smart meter from my previous company. Also I found out that my previous company fixed prices were more than Bulbs.) Dealings with Bulb have been excellent and they added my wife easily. Billing is clear and concise. Well done Bulb.

Just switched to bulb after searching for the best deal I can find. The £50 cashback they are offering makes it even better. You can also earn another £50 for each friend you refer as well. You will earn £50 credit to your account when the switch has completed. The money can be used towards paying your energy bill takes 2mins to sign up, then they will give you your own referral code. You can keep track of all your referrals through the website. The number of referrals you can give is unlimited. Now just wait until they ask for your meter readings.

Over the years I've tried most of the Big 6 Energy Providers and experienced levels of poor customer service plus become accustomed to arbitrary price hikes. My latest fix with First Utility ended in April so I decided to do a price comparison and found Bulb to be the most favourable with good customer service feedback. Their website is user friendly & obtaining a quote took seconds. The switch to Bulb was friendly and efficient with regular e mail updates. Bulb will even pay your current providers exit fees if you are locked in to a deal you want to leave. So what does Bulb offer that makes me give it a 5 star rating? 25% cheaper than the Big 6 UK Support Centre 100% Renewable Energy so great green credentials No exit fees

This company has been good value for money. They answered my calls very quickly (in seconds) compared to 20-30 minutes with my old company. They paid my exit fees to my energy account within minutes of me emailing them my final bill. It took minutes to apply online and they dealt with my old supplier. I also got £50 credit for using T link. Invite your friends to save CO2 too and we'll give you both £50 when they sign up through your link to say thanks.

I researched various companies (no doubt like you are doing now reading this post) and found bulb to have both reasonable prices and good reviews. And a bonus was the £50 credit if you use a referal link. I changed to them a couple of months ago and everything went smoothly. The website is really easy to use In my opinion they are worth a try and well worth the money.

Highly recommended - great prices, easy to communicate with / switch and received a £50 Bulb credit from a new Bulb customer who posted a review. So, I'm doing the same thing myself.

Sorry to hear about this after being with bulb for a year as I did have agreat feel for them... ... but I feel the wheels are starting to come off with this company because I have only emailed them once in the year about a problem and they gave a silly reply which didn`t answer my query....i felt I got an email from an overseas call centre. Shame really.
