Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is almost the same game as the original. I found it difficult to control snake. I got bored with it, I may go back to the game after I finish the 007 everything or nothing game. That is also a third person game and it's much easier to control. I would rent the game first.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snake - Just like in MGS1, if you get spotted an alarm goes off and you have to wait untill it stops.
Also, there a new effect, if you stand on puddles, guards will notice.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a good game. Really it is. but it's not an ORIGINAL good game. If you liked MGS2, or believe this is "your kind of game" I strongly advise you rent it out first, because after you've completed it, there is nothing left to do. You can walk around shooting the guards in interesting places, but if you leave the room, they mysteriously re-spawn. But to be fair, the game has progressed a lot since the original. You can take guards hostage, hang precariously above sleeping guards, take out the local wildlife (to the annoyance of your boss) and run around with a big gun. The stealth element plays a big part, but I was sorely disappointed when I found there where no VR missions.... I still think this game is completely worth the money.... It just depends how much money YOU are willing to spend on a game you will probably only complete once or twice. You can only shoot so many guards in the nads before you loose interest.... BRING ON SNAKE EATER!!!
