I would not recommend Starplan Bedrooms (Wednesbury) to fit your wardrobes.

I had wardrobes fitted in 3 bedrooms and they got the colour and the headboard wrong. The designer did not update the changes we made on the plans and expressly admitted making a mistake with the headboard.

As we signed the plans, we are now stuck with fitted wardrobes that we very much dislike. We paid £7000 for basically something we are not happy with. I have complained so many times and have heard nothing, the designer was argumentative and mocked my colour choice.

If I was you, save your money a go for a more reputable company like Hammonds or Sharps. I only went with Starplan as they were the cheapest.

Basically I paid £7000 for incompetence.

Do not make the same mistake I did, read reviews and do your research. only pick a company by recommendation. Starplan are only interested in hitting their sales targets. If things don't go to plan you are left by yourself to fix it.

Save your money and go elsewhere!

Hi,

I am extremely sorry to hear of the issues that you have had with your recent order. I believe you were speaking to the designer in Wednesbury today. I understand that the headboard issue is being remedied for you. The plans that we have signed from yourself, all state that the colour you have ordered is the colour you have received. Starplan have a number of fail safes in place ensure that the correct colours that are chosen are the ones that get manufactured. If you feel that this is not to your satisfaction, we operate in line with The Furniture Ombudsman, who are a not for profit dispute resolution organisation. There details can be found online.
