Our job started in May 23. They require payment 90% payment for the order placement and order the doors to be manufactured and started of installation. 6 months later the job is not finished we are waiting for doors and no committment on when the work can finish. Communications is poor. When they do respond they say they will come next week. They just don't care. Nice designs but I don't recommend them or don't risk your money.

Overall I give Metro Wardrobes a 5* service for all of their efforts and rewarding work! Luci my designer and Kinjal the fitter in particular were the most helpful and reassuring throughout the process of getting my fitted furniture installed from start to finish. Even though there were some slippery patches and it took a couple of days more than expected for the work to be done, it was done to my full satisfaction which I am very thankful to the entire team for. I highly recommend this company if you want fitted furniture installed at competitive price with no mess or fuss! Keep up the good work :)

I’ve been a customer of Metro on a number of occasions. Recently I purchased wadrobes for my sons bedroom. Manish the designer was extremely helpful in planning the layout of the wardrobes with many options for us to choose from. The drawings were further refined using computer imaging to show the colour and layout of the wardrobes in the room space. We went ahead with the deposit and the fitting date was scheduled as per our request. The fitters arrived in a timely fashion and commenced in work non-stop for two days - completing the work to a very high standard. The fitters - were outstanding! They worked with me closely during the day to ensure any doubts were clarified and I was happy throughout the fitting process. A massive well done to the team and the owner for a fantastic product and experience!

Really it's an amazing taking service from you. Amazing cooperation. Customer service is great and awesome. Anyone can take service as it's a very good experience.

They had 2 months time to manufacture the whole house furniture, managed to drop off some before the lockdown in March, put them all up afterwards in April. From April until now, it's either they do not have the parts or the supplier furlough which cannot make the parts. The owner keeps saying I will tell you tomorrow, next week, etc etc. Right now I have furniture with not match colours, worktop with no stone, every single furniture are half done, etc. I am starting to believe this is a trick / C O N. Looking for legal advice now. We are talking a £40K contract here, So I hope the owner sees this and sort things out right away as well as any potential customer. Good luck

I have paid a deposit of 1250 expecting my wardrobe will be manufactured in 3 weeks time on 23/09/20. I have had a person to check my measurements at my home next day. I have phoned my manager several times then in order to have a final plan to manufacture my simple wardrobe and send a sketch with my measurements. All I have had so far is a promise to send me an email tomorrow/ in 20 minutes time and etc.

I had some bedroom wardrobes installed back in Feb. Initially all was fine, installed on time and looking good. A few months later a problem arose with the built in lights, essentially the switch to turn them on/off wasn’t working. After some back and forth someone came over to have a look, confirmed it needed replacing and promised to be in touch. Since then, nearly two months ago, pretty much nothing. Emails are ignored, promised call backs once someone has looked into it never happen and I can’t even find out what make the lights are to just buy it myself to fix it. So I have a brand new wardrobe with lights I can’t use. Makes the “10 year guarantee” where they promise to rectify things within 5 weeks a bit of a nonsense. For the sake of not replacing a faulty switch they’ve lost at least 2 other jobs from me!

The service started well, and the actual wardrobes are fine but: the fitters cancelled the fitting appointment on the morning of the fitting were then 6 hours late for next fitting When they eventually arrived the lead fitter was so threatening and rude to me that I actually had to ask him to leave my home. I had informed the company I would not be able to move my bed out of the room during the fitting. When they came to fit I was accused of lying and was spoken to in such as aggressive way that I felt threatened. This attitude continued with other staff members. What a shame that a company can have such appalling customer service. Even if the product was satisfactory, I could in no way recommend them.

They fitted my 4 bedrooms with excellent service and great quality. fitting team was so nice and knowledge they working very safely and careful. We engaged Metro Wardrobes to supply and fit two fitted wardrobes in our flat. Following a design visit from the firm we attended their showroom only to leave deflated - clearly monthly targets had been met that month - and our initial positive experience was browbeaten by the apathy of the showroom salesman. We went ahead as (at that point) the product seemed to be offering good value for money. Fitting: we were told this would take two days (inc. existing wardrobe removal), and we accepted this given their previous onsite design consultation. Accordingly, we booked an electrician for this period to facilitate the removal and fitting (hard wiring lighting etc). On day one of the fitting we were informed at midday (after chasing) that no fitters would be attending (illness), and Metro had no contingency for their customers (nor the respect to proactively inform them). In addition, Metro informed me that any costs incurred due to this were our problem, even advising we should refuse to pay for his time and finding it baffling that we uphold payment obligations to independent contractors. When rearranging the fitting the required time frame suddenly varied from two, to one, then to three-days; all without any offer of an apology or any sympathy for inconveniencing customers. These issues were compounded by further delays caused by: i) the incorrect loading materials, (eventually sent to site for arrival and fitting at 8pm!); ii) and the incorrect preparation of materials ultimately sent. In response, no apology was received from Metro, and even the initial denial of the first point when raised during final payment collection. Finally, we were informed we could discuss these issues when we settled the final bill, however all the firm cared about was payment and then washing their hands of it. Indeed, one staff member ended the call as soon as he realised payment had been made. Quality-wise the product is nothing special, and the ultimate value for money poor considering the extra costs incurred through Metro’s lack of care or professionalism. We would like to mention separately that the independent wardrobes fitters were great, and the sole reason we persevered.

So much of our time was wasted and we had to chase the company everytime, would not recommend this company due to the fact that they have very bad customer services and no respect for the customers time. they cancelled on several occasion using blame excuses, and always arrived 4 hours late.

I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the service. They were timely and efficient and I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. Would use them again.

We have been so pleased with our purchase of sliding doors for our wardrobes. The staff were so pleasant to deal with & really helpful in explaining how the process would work. They have a great choice & knew their ranges really well so they could recommend to us what would go with our colours. We had shopped about before hand so had checked like-for-like prices but found that Metro were by far the best value & their lead times worked well for us. Thanks again

The staff at Metro were so helpful & friendly, they made the whole experience a pleasure. They found me the exact wardrobe sliding doors my wife & I wanted & their price was excellent too. I had 2 bedrooms, a loft room and dressing room fitted recently with sliding and hinged door wardrobes and drawer units from Metro. The staff at Metro were very polite, helpful and professional from beginning until end and I’m really happy with the finished results. The quality and build of the wardrobes is excellent and I did make a few changes along the way whether on the design side or on the fitting and they were very accommodating to my needs. The quality and build of the wardrobes is fantastic and the overall look is modern and classy which is just what I was looking for. The wardrobes were fitted on time and I was kept informed whether by email or phone/sms on the progress. I’m really proud to have used Metro Wardrobes and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others :)))

After a design visit to my home and at least two visits to their showroom, during which I found all staff very eager and helpful and with no pressure to close the deal, I eventually settled on a design that suited my preferences and was considerably cheaper than some competitors. The work was carried out efficiently and quickly, with some minor practical problems caused by the location easily dealt with. The arrival time was later than agreed, but I was kept informed and the work was carried out on the day as agreed. Everything was cleared up very efficiently. I am very pleased with the outcome and have now commissioned a matching chest of drawers and would happily recommend to anyone.
