I paid a £1000 for this American style freezer in autumn 2014 and the ice machine has never worked properly ever. They have been out to it twice and the second time the engineer told me to take the top of the fridge off myself and mess with the wiring inside. I called again and no reply so left a message online only to be told they have never been out to it ever. Worst customer service ever and they said it would cost me for repairs now. Go for a more reputable make and avoid LG. I know they are cheap but that reflects in their service and support.
