I was looking to enhance my FreeView TV experience, the problem was, I don't have good reception in my house and I didn't want to run wires from the Freeview antenna to every room in the house.
Then I saw the VBox TV Gateway XTi-3340.
Installation was a breeze, connected the VBox to the Freeview antenna and to my network router, run a simple setup wizard from my PC (I later learned that I could have done that through my Tablet as well) the VBox scans for Freeview channels, I organized the channel list based on what my family likes and this is it.
We can now watch and record different channels at the same time, from different room via WiFi, and I can watch TV on my Tablet and smartphone anywhere in the house with the free Android app.
Recorded videos are stored on a removable storage attached to the USB port, we have attached an old removalbe hard drive we had and now we can all share recorded programs or decide where tp watch them.
Video quality is great as well! we get full HD with no freezes or other pixelization.
Pros: Multi-room, Multi-device, multi-channel, no wire installation, no need for Internet, good picture quality, simple setup
Cons: The box is not that good looking, but it is small enough to hide it
