I've had a Caxton fx dollar card for two years and have never had a problem with it. However today I decided to check the balance remaining from our USA holiday in May and have found that my card was used by someone else in the UK on 2nd July 2011 for the small amount of £18.00 (purchase of e-ticket for coach trip). My card is only ever used in America and never in the UK.

Caxton customer services have been extremely helpful sorting this problem out, but in future I will block my card when returning from holiday. It's easy to do by calling Caxton and they will change your card status to "deposit only". It means you can load your card but no purchases can be made.
