Totally surprised about my little Rio!

I was looking for an economic diesel car back in 2010 when I bought my Rio. I had very low expections on it, i essencially bought it because it was cheaper than other brands small diesel cars. I bought it used and it had 30.000 km.
It now has 140.000 km and not on single trouble it gave me. It never entered an auto repair shop actually, i do all the maintenance myself. The only part i had to replace on it where the window wipers!
It is economic enough as far as fuel consumption: 4.8 L/100km, but i do drive slow. Most of my driving is highway, 90km/h.
It has does 110 HP that I consider are more than enough for a car like this and the handling is good, though the car is light the rigidity of the suspension compensates this. It is confortable and has all the essencial gadgets that you would expect from a decent 2008 car. Automatic A/C is my favourite!
The interior look is nice and appealing in my EX Sport version, but it does have a lot rigid plastic, still i don't ear any parasitic noises and for me that's the most important. It also has a lot of space to offer inside.
The exterior look is kinda neutral but i couldn't care less about that.
This car is not a tuning toy, it is a straight foward, reliable A to B trip car and, for the money, it does his job incredibly well.
The mechanical components are straight forward, reliable and simple.
If you need an everyday practical car that doesn't give you trouble and carries you to work in confort without ever complaining, this is the car for you.
My KIA RIO...believe me, i wouldn't trade for any of his
competitors. Buy it, love it and it will love you back. : )
