Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer Spray

I think this is a really great product however I have had to return so many sprays as they don't work after 1 or 2 applications as its not the cheapest of self tanning products I have had to stop buying it, my friends have experienced the exact same problem !!

Being quite pale I was nervous using any tan that isn't wash off. Other spray tans always came out streaky and blotchy. The colour guard makes it so easy to apply and avoid and streaks. The mousse drys really quickly and it's gorgeous colour, a colour which you could go out with straight away unlike st tropez which comes out an olive colour. There's a minimal smell and the colour guard washes off easily leaving a gorgeous sun kissed tan. It looks very natural however if your naturally tan the colour mightn't do much but for someone who is fair or pale this is perfect

I put it on my cat and he did not like it. Bottle said it was not tested in animals. Literally obvious.

I am a man and this was the first time i used any spray tan having used Dove Summer Glow light before and that only for face. When i first used this I sprayed too close and had damp patches on applciation, and hours later it had patchy result so had to scrub off the best i could and wait a few days for the colour to fade - a mess! But then i saw the vid on youtube. When white again, this time I watched the youtube vid first with the expert guy instructing the girl. I did as he said, twisting arms, sparying length-wise over chest and lower trunk. Akward part was doing shoulders, held can from correct 40cm distance (cans length distance) but tried not to press too hard as it was on a smaller surface area (nightmare of earlier damp patches on application). For my back, wary here, as i could only spray from above back of head to cover top of back and and from twisted arm round hips to spray bottom of back, but not done in length wide streaks, rather I just did a spray of the mist and hoped it would settles evenly. Later I had a great light golden colour that is even and looks real! Even on the back where I was worried though lighter it looks fine - key thing NO STREAKS! Re-applied later and now have a great looking bod. Only one slight whitish patch, index finger size on chest, but can carefully patch that up with Dove Summer Glow light. This stuff is great, but you have to follow the instuctions - spray from 40 cm i long light whisking down movements. See the youtube vid. Does smell but not excessive, bearable.

In the mornings way-hay lovely and

bronzed!! This tan worked a treat - like

all tans preparation is key!

Would say as another review cover your

feet as mine are slightly darker and

other then my own mistakes (slight orange

down?!?) the tan is lovely and golden.

Smell a little strong but no worse then

any professional tan I've had. If used

correctly and prep is done you'll like

I am new to fake tanning, so gave this a go on the basis that previous Garnier products I have used have been great. This however was not. I put one coat on, followed by another ten minutes later (as I wanted a nice rich colour). I was ridiculously sticky for about ten hours and the smell was god awful. I showered about 10pm having put it on at 1pm simply to get rid of the smell as best as I could, I am now a streaky mess. It ran everywhere, and I am left with a smelly patchy orange body. Beautiful... not! Others may have more success, but I won't be using it again. It's day 4 and the smell is only just going. Not happy!

This spray tan is brilliant and gives a lovely golden glow. You have to follow the instructions and spray at least 40cm away, my friend made the mistake of spraying to close and ended up with loads of streaks. One other tip put something to bottom of your feet if you stand in the mist that's hit the floor your feet will go a really dark browny orange colour which is not a good look! I like the smell and it goes after 20 mins. This product takes about 3-4 hours to develop so I tend to spray before I go to bed and wake up tanned :) this product also works on your face so no need to buy the separate face tanning spray.

ridiculously hard to apply evenly due to strong spray I now have the patchiest tan I have ever had. I always use self-tan and this is the worst one I have ever had.

I bought this tan as I'm going on holiday soon and can't tan my legs to save my life! I was told about this tan by a friend I usually uses San tropay moouse ones, but fancied a change. I went out and bought this I was just planing on doing my legs but I decided to arms as well. I spray as instructed 40cm away, and was like oh I'm used to other looking tan a little bit more tan instantly. So I let it dry and develop for 3 hours and didn't really notice a whole lot of different, a little but not much. As I had bought the fair colour and I'm not that fair I assumed that was why!. So I spray some more on let it dry and went to bed. When i woke up I noticed my legs are actually brown !! And I managed to missed the back of my arms !!

But would defiantly uses again!

I applied the mousse version of this product after my morning shower, so it had all day to absorb and dry, and result was OK. BUT - went to bed, and next morning my bed linen was badly stained. (Thank goodness I didn't wear my best cream trousers during the day). It toook a couple of washes to get the stains out. Contacted Garnier and got a patronising reply saying the can said 'to avoid fabric'. So, we are expected to walk around naked and sleep on floorboards ! They have totally ignored all further emails from me and request for refund. They’ve just permanently lost a customer.
