Last summer, I used this lotion. I love this product. It smells great.

Lovely colour but I developed a very sore and unsightly rash with this product. Two of my friends have had reactions too. I think this product needs investigating as I’ve used others with no problem. Very disappointed and I would not recommend to anyone for this reason. My skin isn’t usually sensitive either.

I applied this a few days ago to my legs,arms and neck and I now have an itchy red rash around my neck that is lumpy and inside my arms and back of legs! I go on holiday in just over a week! Please if you are to use this patch test it first even though it says suitable for sensitive skin! I loved the colour of it but improvement of the product needs improvement! It has the fake tan smell but not as strong as a normal fake tan but overall minus the rash outbreak over my body it is good

Used this product for the first time a couple of weeks ago and really liked the colour as it was very natural and had no streaks. At the same time I developed a very itchy white lumpy rash in my inner arms. I didn’t make the connection until I used it again last night and the same thing happened only it has spread down my whole arm too. Not usually one to react badly to anything but this is really very itchy and uncomfortable. It’s quite appalling that the bottle states ‘suitable for sensitive skin’.

Used this product on my legs to get a healthy glow before going to a wedding, ended up with a painful itchy rash where I had applied the product. I have used other self tanning creams in the past with no reaction. This product is marketed as suitable for sensitive skin, I won’t be using it again.

Checked in the store if the product would be suitable and as it stated ‘for sensitive skin’ thought it would be okay for me. Came out in red very itchy rash all around neck, chest, breasts, stomach, armpits, random parts of arms when I started using it. My skin was extremely hot and rash felt like burning, it’s awful. Legs seem fine. I do have some colour with it. Itching like mad for two days now - won’t be using that again! Just grateful I didn’t put it on my face. No wonder it was half price:-). The product is definitely not suitable for sensitive skin, there is obviously an ingredient which is causing a severe reaction in the product.

Like many of these reviews I have started using this product over the last week and have come out in a horrible red itchy rash all over my chest, shoulder, neck, back and stomach. Looks horrendous. I do not have sensitive skin and can usually use anything. Will never use again! Sticking to Palmers Coco Butter next time!

Started using this product 2 weeks ago and straight away noticed patches of dry red skin on the creases of my arms and slightly on my wrists. I continued to use the product as it took a few days to work out what was the cause of the rash as it continued to worsen. I have never had problems with my skin before and isn't normally sensitive. No other product has ever caused anything like this to my skin. The same product also caused a reaction to my friends skin. I am concerned as to what particular ingredient would be causing this to so many other people.

I applied the product on a couple of midweek evenings and then by the weekend and red rash appeared on the inside of my arms, around my bosom and my neck. I have never had any allergies or skin problems, so I was surprised. I had to seek advice from an NHS doctor and pharmacist and had to take anti-histamines and hydrocortisone cream. I have no idea which of the ingredients would cause this reaction. My legs have not reacted and I do like the colour of my legs with this product, but I am very nervous about it because of the damage it has done elsewhere.

Same as everyone else. Terrible red itchy rash on my neck and chest. Looks and feels horrible. I am extremly shocked that so many people have had this problem. Needs sorting.

I've used this product a few times now, I adore the tan colour it gives but every time I use it I come out in a horrendous rash the next day. At first I kept using it until the bottle was empty incase it was any other product doing the damage until I used it on its own and it was still happening. I used to think the rash was worth the colour but the rash began to last days after the tan was completely gone and that's when I realised it was seriously damaging my skin. Do not recommend!

I use Garnier ALL the time! It normally take a few applications to build up, so I usually start applying it everyday for 3days before the day I want it to look best for. Sometimes the colouring can look slightly orangey/golden than brown, but it come out evenly without streaks with minimum effort.

So yesterday l bought the Garnier Summer Body lotion (light) and applied it last night. This morning l have woke up to the most horrendously itchy red rash on my arm and chest. I have had to sit at work in so much discomfort until l could rush home to take some anti allergy tablets and try and wash it all off. My advice is stay away from this product !! Surely by now after all these complaints it needs to be taken off the shelf. So thank you Garnier for not tanning my skin but BURNING my skin.

Used this product for a week then i broke out into a severe rash leading me to be rushed to hospital after collapsing twice at home. Doctors had never seen anything like it as I was covered head to toe in a fiery red rash. DO NOT use this product, just remain pale!!!!

I used this product as I had a wedding to go to, after the 3rd application I noticed I got a really itchy rash behind both my knees and in inner thigh, at first I thought I may of been a heat rash. The rash then got so bad that once my friends wedding came I may of had slightly tanned legs but with horrific red rash behind both knees and inner thigh.... Looked lovely NOT in my dress. Stay clear unless you do a test first!

I would never recommend this product!! I have been using it for a few weeks and have now got a rash on both my arms, which is very itchy and burns. Iv just read other reviews that have said the same, I'm glad I'm not I my own here ladies.
