“False advertising”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 24/08/2012

Not yet used the voucher we received. It came in an UNSTAMPED envelope - so we had to pay "£1.50 to get it.

The gift box states "50+ UK locations" including.... and then lists 39 cities and counties.

Actual number of locations offered - JUST 38

Locations offered do not include London (which was where the gift was intended for) nor many of the counties listed.

Have suggested to person paying for gift that he returns to store in which he bought it to claim money back from them in view of clear false advertising.

Activity Superstore must have run out of stamps or franking ink because I too had to pay a postage surcharge. We initially refused the delivery thinking it was merely mailshot because Activity Superstore advised me in an email that ..."You will receive an email confirmation when your pack has been dispatched. "

No confirmation email was received.

I am very sorry to hear that your experience was not satisfactory. If you would be so kind as to email the voucher reference with details to [email protected] we will look into this for you straight away.
