This company did no work to sell my business. I wrote all the copy, took all the photographs and only put me on one website. They sent complete time wasters and I suspect they made-up appointments as there were many no shows.

Advertising businesses on Facebook where it's free and charging a fortune for the service. Absolutely disgusting.. plus anyone check your data that they hold, they have done an aml test for someone else at my home, potentially risking my house.. and my aml cane back with a deceased date on it. Double check everything with them..

After 2 years when my business was dissolved I get this bailiffs notice in my hands to pay an outrageous sum of money and that's after CCJ I had no idea about what fits them very well. First of all they must have known when they evaluated the business in Jan 22 that it was not saleable, they just used the fact that we had no idea how this works and that English was not our first language and then they sent an invoice to unmonitored email in March 23 for 14 months of marketing even though the lease agreement ended in March 22. They did the CCJ behind my back and now sending bailiffs to sniff around my ex's house and harass her and our daughter. The business went down after the pandemic and the life has been a struggle ever since and these people have absolutely no shame to chase people trying to survive in this kind of environment

Misrepresentation and misleading. They trick a lot of people's money, if anyone have the same situation, I think we need to contact with each others to make the complaint about Ernest Wilson and inform the media to let them know.

Had business on market with them for 7 months had no interest so I removed of the market and paid the fee. I closed the business through bad health and sold the equipment and gave the lease up, 7 months later I get a invoice from Ernest Wilson for sale of business this is not acceptable and will fight this case

We requested a valuation for our shop to sell. They came out and gave us a valuation. We Decided to put a notice up in the window until we decided what to do. We received an offer but had a little issue with right of way. We contacted Ernest Wilson as they owned the surrounding properties. After a short conversation on the telephone with someone to rectify this issues. He made a suggestion for them to buy it and they offered more than the original interested buyer. Done deal. They were so efficient on their side however we had a problem with our solicitor which delayed things. He directed us to a good solicitor. His team also helped us with the energy performance certificate. They were all there on the end of the phone to help and advice during this process. I cannot fault their customer service. It was a pleasure doing business with them. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Very poor business As a buyer, they are very difficult to deal with, communication is poor and they do nothing to broker a deal, just pass on emails. Very aggressive with their communication and have very little commercial acumen, they clearly do not care about buyer or seller. If I was selling a business, I would not use them. All their review responses to negative feedback are very aggressive. Very disappointing business and a shame really. I would suggest anyone considering selling a business, do it yourself

They had our business up for sale for almost 2 years and failed miserably! We agreed to their recommended price and dropped the price further, but again they couldn't sale. Their service absolutely terrible in particular from there sales Director. They were happy to keep your business up for sale because they were charging monthly for advertisement and obviously their ridiculous fee of 5 % if they actually sale your business. We took their advice and hardly had any viewing, the once that actually turned up were irrelevant. We gave them notice and sold the business our selves within a few months, but the sales director had the audacity to ask for 7.5 % although they did NOTHING!!! They will hide behind the contract.... do not sign their contract! If you give notice they will ask for it to be done by the post, this is just a delaying technique. Check the final bill, they overcharged us. If you re-search them you will see how appalling they are, how many court cases they have had and lost. I hope this helps as I don't want you to feel my pain!!!

DO NOT use this company. One of the directors is a horrible, money grabbing £$%^%. I sold my company with this agency and they rinsed me for every penny. They not only charged me quite alot to sell my very small shop, but the worst thing they did was when a buyer left a £1000 depsoit on a sale, that fell through, they kept the deposit for them selves and I didn't see a penny of it. The director was a complete idiot and simply said, they're keeping it as they've done a lot of work. He was horrible, unprofessional and vicimised us. I can't stress enough, DON'T USE THEM!

Tell you one thing then hide behind contracts which are onerous and weighted in their favour to extort money for little or no service Check absolutely everything you are signing up for and make sure any verbal agreements are written down and signed before you commit to anything. Do not use the extortionate newspaper advertising fees for a 5cm square advert buried in the local rag. Its an antiquated way of advertising and will cost you a minimum of £500 for six months useless exposure

My father once bought a business of Ernest Wilson back in the day and had a bad experience of purchasing with his life savings. Bad. Anyhow, he wanted to sell the business through EW, they said they would sell for a good price. Later they asked for the work done to sell, which they had not and had not even put ads in the papers, which they invoiced the costs. Don't buy or sell the firm for anything. Avoid like the plague.

My Husband and I have been in business for many years and over that time have sold four separate businesses with Ernest Wilson. Every time we use them, they prove to be a fantastic and very professional company to deal with. Without fail they always find us buyers in the quickest manner, each sale have been very smooth and they never fail to get us what we want as sellers. We sold our latest business last month (they found us a buyer in 2 days of selling with them) and took 2 months to complete. The person I dealt with has been fantastic and because of her we are both very happy with them as a company. Well done to her. Thank you for everything

Charged nearly £4000 to rent shop out that's included for lease then told would have to get my own solicitor to do lease at extra cost of £900 including vat . Got impression they didn't really care .and didn't know what they were doing . Save your money a lot cheaper and better out there

The person I dealt with make more money by taking people to court than actually selling businesses, they run a very underhand operation,using high pressure sales tactics, then locking people into very costly contracts, with no intention of selling your business. Don't sign anything until a solicitor has looked at the contract. They make false online customer reviews, if they were as good as what their false reviews claim they are, they wouldn't have removed their review page off their Facebook page. You have been warned.
