Avoid

Purchased a flat through these guys at the barking branch with an offer made mid jan 2015 and accepted. Was told its chain free so offer was few grand short of asking price. Had the mortgage offer in 2 weeks and it all seemed planning sailing with completion expected March 2015. However two weeks in February was told the property now in a chain and completion now likely April 2015 which wasn't a big issue. As April arrived no updates from the agent. One employee  was a complete joke and his attitude stank!!! Had no clue on what was happening it was more of me telling him how to do his job even then he was incompetent. These guys have no idea how to operate and never answer their phone calls or email they made the whole process soooo stressful and complicated. Only when I told them I will pull out the sale their branch manager did something about it. All in all it took 7months to complete a simple purchase which only had 1 person on the top of the chain and we managed to complete on the day my mortgage offer expired.
Also their internal conveyance department (bridge end) is a complete joke they keep losing important documents and made my solicitors life difficult, they never respond to enquires. Typical example, it took them 5 months to respond to 3 enquires. At first they confirmed their fee earner is working on it. Later they claim the had no knowledge of these enquires. The most stressful process created by these people.
If you ever sell your place avoid using these people or their services.
