I have had an email account for many years then a week ago it stopped receiving emails. I phoned the help number and was on there for an hour and a half and then finally some action. Today 8 days later I was texted to ask it was now working, the reply was NOT FIXED. I phoned a number supplied in text and was told that email address is disconnected. I use this account for hospital appointments etc and now I am phucked due to TALK TALK and their useless organisation. Do not touch them with a barge pole.

My email account, which I've used for over 10 years as my main account, has, seemingly, been deactivated. I've got some important family incoming mails which I've not seen. Can I get at them - NO. Are Talk Talk doing anything to restore acess - YES, "we've referred it to out Network team, please wait another day". As soon as this little episode is over, I'll migrate my email account. I'm also not pleased with BT (My Broadband suppier) and have decided to move in June this year when my Line Rental Contact expires. Would I now consider Talk Talk - NO.

I have always used them for email and originally had their dial up account hence got an early convenient address. The email though has always been dreadful....I also use other accounts....I am also constantly bombarded online and through the post with their broadband offers. I know they are much cheaper than I am paying....but!!!! they must be joking. They would have to pay me before I would willingly rely on them for anything.

TERRIBLE SERVICE CANNOT EVER ACCESS EMAIL NOW NO LONGER WITH THEM BUT STILL HAVE TO ENDURE THEIR MAIL SERVER FOR WORK EMAILS THINK IM GOING TO REDIRECT MY MAIL TO A GMAIL ACCOUNT. AS A SIDE NOTE THEY RIPPED ME OFFF WHEN I LEFT TOO! LONG STORY THOUGH AVOID AT ALL COSTS....

If you are thinking about having anything to do with this lot, ask yourself if you enjoy banging your head against a brick wall on a regular basis. If the answer is no, then avoid Tiscali/talktalk like the plague. Accessing my Tiscali email account is mission impossible, more often than not. If they can't even get an email account to work properly on a consistent basis would you trust them with providing you broadband. Nuh-uh. Oh, if you ever have the pleasure of one of their salespeople cold calling you, ask them why they practise the technique of NLP on potential customers. Do it. Just do not sign up for ANYTHING from them.

Why can i never access my mail when i need it! It locks out , freezes and is worse at busy times of day ie early evening. I kept tiscali mail as many friends and family use it to mail me BUT i need to change, i have hotmail and gmail and these have never caused me trouble.

Never sign up for Tiscali / Talk Talk email unless you never use it, the service is so poor its never in service often mail never gets there ... in this day and age its a laughable service.

Problems with the Tiscali /TalkTalk email have gone on for days. The virtual customer service assistant apologises for being a bit new to the job: surely if you were creating a fantasy assistant you would make up a character who had previous experience. Are TalkTalk deliberately trying to get rid of Tiscali email accounts?

Since the takeover by Talk Talk, can not get into my emails. The blank screen and buggerall else. Now Talk Talk have posted an "all fixed" declaration. Well it is not, it is still dreadful and blanking 100%, 24/7. Bandwidth has also gone down by 50% overnight (2 weeks now). Do I want fibre for £10 more a month - no, hell no, HELL NO!! This company and many others use these tactics and Ofcom are not on the ball. Waiting a year and then they may mention it and give them a year to sort it. Meanwhile I could have had 3 children!!!!

I get about 20 spam emails a day that is after applying the so called blocked email list. Before that I got about 60/day!!. Gmail is much better.

The worse customer service ever when you can get them to understand you!!!! Have given up after the most frustrating time I have ever encountered. Changed all of my Tiscali e-mails. Be warned

I would give Talk Talk a NO star rating.......it is certainly gone beyond terrible. I have been with Tiscali for many, many years. Now I find it is impossible to even access my account ......I get bounced out .......there is always, always something to stop me. As for the re-vamped site/format that too is utter rubbish. There is NOTHING good to say about this site. Just DO something about it.........WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Have been a Tiscali user for many years, but will be leaving soon because their service continues to get worse. It is absolutely abysmal, the emails keep dropping out--it advises the emails are corrupt--when you send an email to another folder or section, it takes other similarly named emails with it, or it deletes them for good. Their telephone service is also very bad, and I often feel I would get better service from the chimpanzees at the zoo! You would think they would learn a lesson from the numerous bad reviews they get, but it seems apparent they do not even care!!

I have similar problems. Don't know why I haven't changed yet. I was given the mail2web address by a Tiscali technician last year who said it was the only thing working! Mail2web comes up in 3 seconds. I've been able to access Tiscali directly once in the past week. Then, it works fine, apart from dropping my regular emails (from people on my contact list) into Trash and putting emails I've marked as spam into my inbox. Even emails from Tiscali go into trash. When I finally change, I shall contact the guy at the top of TalkTalk and ask him if he's aware of the chaos below him. The Tiscali staff are always helpful and polite, but they seem to be unable to change anything. Dreadful service. I even had a call before Christmas offering me compensation - no amount mentioned. Two weeks later, I spoke to another technical advisor and mentioned this and was told that they didn't do that and that no-one would have offered me anything. A total shambles.

i am having the same problems they keep sending me messages saying i have gone over my limit, i only have 5 messages left in my in box and i will not beable to receive anymore i have tried phoning but nobody seemed helpful at all
