I am being harassed by this company. We closed down our shop on 25 May. Opus were informed prior to this and final readings given (twice). They say they never rec'd the final readings although they were entered online. They refuse to believe that the shop was closed between 25 May and 09 Sept when no electricity was used, and when the new tenants took over. They have rec'd confirmation of this by the selling agent (who had the keys of the property). They say they never rec'd this. I paid the final bill in good faith(for which I never rec'd a bill or a receipt) but now they are asking for more money based on an estimated reading as if the shop was still trading. I have asked repeatedly for a bill for the amount they are asking showing readings and relevant dates but they will not supply this. They ignore my e-mails, they ignore what I tell them on the phone, their customer service people are rude and unpleasant. They just keep e-mailing, texting and calling me asking for money with no details to back up their demand. All this despite the fact that I have a letter from them dated 13 June 2016 confirming the account has been closed, signed by the customer services manager! This company is an absolute disgrace and I don't know how they are allowed to keep trading.

Yes I agree with you about this company I'm forever getting demanding payment letters from this company I complained so many times to no avail I am going to seek and take legal action against opus for their bullying and intimidation antics. It's a criminal offence for any company to harrass a customer and threatened anyone this company should be shut down and made to go bankrupt. Their customer service is diabolical dreadful. I don't know why this company is allowed to get away with this behaviour and attitude
