Behringer V-amp 2 was reply to POD Line 6 for the fraction of the price. For 80GBP you get 32 amplifiers simulations and 15 cabinets which you can combine wit extra effects, reverb, delay, rotary, flanger, phaser, chorus. It is plenty to get your own sound set up quickly. Unit has lots of features, play along socket so you can jam to your CD's, midi in midi out so you can use optional controller. Sound quality is good however in comparison to Line 6 it seems bit dark so I find myself pushing treble knobs to far right. Unit comes with switch pedal so you can change banks up /down. Operation is a bit tricky at first as lots of holding buttons, simultaneous pressing is involved but after a while it becomes your second nature. I would recomend that unit to anyone who does not want to spend fortune on effects boards.
