Waste of My Time!

I've been using SAMLearning at my school since year 7 and, 4 years on, it hasn't gotten any better. It's the same tiresome 'drag-and-drop, get it wrong, mess up your score' rubbish. It doesn't provide you hints or tips as to the answer to the question, and the questions are out to make you choose the wrong answer by trying to trick you.

Even when first using it, you fail to learn anything, as you just quickly skim the questions and drop in an answer, in an attempt to get the horrid experience of SAMLearning away from you.

It doesn't help you make any progress, just providing you with a percentage of your final score, and not giving you a tip on how to improve your score. The only thing it gives you is an option to put a smiley on it to show how you felt about it. What is that about? What is the actual point of that? Really? There is no need for that. It doesn't boost your learning.

Upon completing the dull as dishwater sheet, you will be given points. These points are added up, and give you a final score so that you can be ahead of your friends. Why on Earth you want to be ahead of your friends on SAM-bloody-Leaning is beyond me.

And the layout. I personally think that it looks like Facebook. The same white text on blue, little red box in the corner. See the resemblance? What are they trying to do, lure teenagers? Just because it looks like Facebook does not make it any better. Honest, this site takes the complete Michael.

The SAMLearning login method is a joke. The usernames are idiotic. Why do they need to be so long? What is the point of making them so long and tiresome to enter over and over again? Get a grip, SAM!

Something that really gets at me is the way that teachers go on about how good it is. It's not, dear teachers, stop giving us sheets on it. It's just as bad as MyMaths. I've been trying to talk my way out of using it for years, and they just keep going on.

It drives me nuts to use this site. I really hate it. Hours are wasted on this site. I would rather slice my neck than have to keep using this for GSCE revision. Get it taken down!
