Guest's review of Naturally Powered Laundry Powder

“Misleading Eco Hype”

Written on: 06/12/2012

This laundry Powder comes in a box covered in eco hype about dermatalogical testing and plant based ingredients and 'developed by eco experts' etc. The company website looks very impressive and looks like it has loads of green credibility, although if you email customer services you get a reply from Tesco, which suggests that this company is not quite what it seems.
There is a partial list of ingredients, which includes the things they want you to know, but presumably leaves out all the ones they don't want you to know about. Close examination reveals that it has an 'irritant' warning label and is not suitable for wool or silk, and contains optical whitening agents and perfume.

What really prompted me to write this review is that this product is loaded with high strength industrial perfume - it is quite overpowering and smells terrible!
This appears to me to be a high strength heavy duty laundry powder that is masquerading as an eco friendly product and I certainly don't want it on my clothes.

The 'Naturally Powered' company is clearly Tesco in disguise, and the box of powder I mistakenly bought is sitting in my shed waiting to be returned to the store. This product stinks - Literally!
