The owner is so helpful and welcoming, she couldn't do enough to help us. She has great local knowledge, and a real eye for presentation. The continental breakfast was ample, lots of pastries, fruit and cheeses. The accommodation is lovely, obviously well looked after and maintained. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very tasteful, and the whole place is immaculately clean. Nice quiet room, had the best sleep since leaving home! Should have checked the website, didn't realise they only take cash. Wasn't a problem as there is an ATM nearby. Well placed to tour central Scotland, good transport links. Always stay in luxury guest houses when I travel, this is one of the better ones. Highly recommend.
