50/50 Experience

In the end I had 3 instructors in a space of 4 months.
I will start by saying the level of training was of good standard. I had a pleasant experience with the AA until it came to test days.
I sat my test once and sadly failed due to a silly mistake, booked a new test as soon as, in consualtion with my second intructor. This instructor pulled out last minute leaving me with no one to take me, no advice from the AA and at one point I was asked to go find another service to take me to my test. I had spent 4 months paying the AA to be informed that I should find a local service willing to take me to my test due to their intructor pulling out. The intructor was unreliable and the attitude of the AA was insulting. Luckily after much arranging and complaining I found my last intructor to be amazing a lovely down to earth woman who gave me the confidence to pass my test on my second attempt. I felt very let down by the service the AA offered in this instance and I understand the drivers are freelance but I think a lot of the time is becomes about making money for them rather than the level of driving form the pupil. (Not all but definatley some) so watch out.
Overall a pleasant experience and I am happy I passed. it cost me more money due to people pulling out but I'm happy I chose AA I just hope they don't try to brush you off near test time due to unrealiable instructors letting you down.
