Mik was rude to me before I had even booked a lesson. Sarcastic and rude when I was perfectly polite. Would not get into a car with this person. %100 would not recommend

Driving instructor from this company gave me verbal abuse and threatened me when I had an issue with his car illegally parked in a bus stop. He then followed my bus up to the terminus to threaten and abuse me, the bus drive, all because I'd said "a driving instructor should know better," when I saw his car parked and blocking the bus stop. Just seen months later he's still working for them and they clearly took no action against him.

Not for me as I got fooled by other reviews so went with the instructor who I was with for 3 weeks but I ended up finding another instructor yesterday after being let down 3 times in a row which is not good. I understand things happen which can't be helped and need time sorting but I always had to chase the instructor to find out what was happening, so I couldn't tell whether he was lying or not, either way I was suspicious as the first lesson he couldn't do, under 2 hours for the second time and had to leave and not give a reason why, then called the other 2 this week off. Yes this made me suspicious and didn't know what to believe especially after reading reviews about LDC about their other instructors doing the same, so maybe I did the right thing. As I only had one lesson I can't recommend him unfortunately which is a shame because I've wasted time chasing him and kept being delayed last minute but I found another instructor who is doing a 2 hour session £3 cheaper which to me is a £3 saving so hopefully things will hopefully be better. I could learn with him along another instructor but I don't think it's worth it if this is going to keep happening. The first lesson was alright, could be a bit better by sticking to the full 2 hours which I didn't have as it was under by 15 minutes and didn't give a reason why he needed to leave so not great and I wasted money and time so definitely not great, bearing in mind it's £66 if you do a 2 hour session with him. I understand as a first lesson it's not going to be anything special but I got to do a three point turn and a little drive so 2 stars. I think people who are already with him or plan on going with him should read reviews about LDC on facebook and review centre and then decide if this driving company is for you, I unfortunately had nothing but letdowns so I decided to change, if anyone is plan on doing the same and located on Port Talbot area, maybe try looking at another instructor would be the best bet.

Can confirm this is true. The instructor you are talking about is located in the Bridgend area where I did my lessons, and he was incredibly unreliable. Such a shame because he was a fantastic help, but wasted a lot of my time. So glad I found somebody else.

Best thing you ever done. I didn't even find him helpful.either to be honest and he didn't even teach me POM. I am so glad I am now with Red.

To start with my lessons were great, I learned a lot, but then they lessons got very repetitive and felt like they was just dragging out lessons for more money, eventually I passed after some considerable of money where out into the scheme. And now I’ve passed my instructor has been pestering me and my parents about my driving, checking up on me saying I’m a worry, in my eyes after I’ve passed I’m out of there hands and they have no right to criticise the way we drive I’ve heard this from multiple people. So watch out for (stalking ) after you pass as it’s quite pressuring knowing they are watching you. Would not recommend as there are cheaper better and more professional companies out there.

If you want waste your money and fail , then choose the LDC. Unprofessional , rude instructors.

On paper this sounded like the ideal way to learn to drive, I'm sure it works for others but the instructor I got ( chelmsford area) was the rudest man ever, I like most people need encouragement not someone to criticize everything I did then try to imply i was dyslexic and not listening. I changed to a different driving school after 5 months of coming home in tears and passed first time within 2 months, I really wouldn't bother with ldc

After a few months of lessons elsewhere and feeling my son was getting nowhere, we decided to go to LDC and take a quick course with the test at the end. All I can say is, I'm so glad we did this, my son who lacks confidence passed his test first time with flying colours, best money we spent...the instructor made my son feel at ease from the moment he met him...I offered to take out more lessons just incase my son wasn't ready as it was a very quick course, and I was told he wouldn't need them, so as for being money grabbers, I didn't see that from them at all..from when I first made the call, all I have witnessed is very attentive people on the phone and an amazing instructor...if I could give 5 more * I would...I definitely would recommend our instructor to EVERYONE!!!

Deeply unimpressed with LDC, and I agree with what other reviewers have said about them being money-grabbing. In September I paid over £900 upfront on the understanding that by paying, I was securing a booking in November. I was told that my instructor would contact me to confirm. He did not, so I got in touch only to learn that he was already booked up, and that someone else might be available at the end of January. I received no apology for this waste of my time from either him or the head office, who took a very cold tone once I raised the possibility of a refund. Surprisingly, and to their credit, I was refunded in full. I feel, however, that they totally prioritise taking your money - delivering the service they have promised is secondary. I have never been less valued as a customer and would strongly advise anyone considering LDC to look elsewhere. Many thanks to the company for setting my driving back three months. Hopefully they'll invest the interest they earned on my £900 in customer service training.

I have been doing some lessons with Yiannis. I already had a full license for my country but decided to get myself a British license. I had 10 lessons and booked my test. I showed Yiannis my booking confirmation and even sent it to him in a text message. just so he knew the date/time and test center. On the day of test I booked and paid for another 2 hour lesson for beforehand then Yiannis took me to the test center only for it to be the wrong one. So I missed my test and lost the £63 some how Yiannis said it was my fault as I didn't book his preferred center. I then book another test at a later date (at the preferred center) only to fail on 2 minor faults and 1 major due to no fault of my own. The examiner said it was very unfortunate and I'm definitely ready for another test. However Yiannis has insisted in more lessons when I explained I could only afford a couple of 1 hour lessons he told me to look for another car or instructor to do my test with. I feel he is only interested in money and not getting people to pass.

i failed my test thrice. Every time, their assigned tutor Told me it was up to my nerves and he could do nothing for them. Whereas the first time i had not even done emergency stop and pull up right hand side practice. Pathetic instructor. I am very dissappointed i have taken about 50 or more hours from their school tutor and now i get to hear that i have to spend alot of time and work alot on my driving skills from beginning? I am very sad and hurt with the way i was treated, i have lost my driving confidence and been so stressed . I would not recommend others to go through the same. Instead of wasting your time and money Birmingham get a capable instructor that can teach you safe driving skills.

Well where do I start... my instructor from Burton on Trent is such a kind and respected man, I haven't doubted him one bit during this Semi intensive course, which I must say is the best thing I've invested in. The semi intensive course is very very effective, especially the way this instructor teaches, he makes it simple and straight forward and nothing complicated. At first I was lacking a little on confidence but it soon turned around with the reassurance of him and the confidence he has in you especially. He's made this course a breeze for me and such an incredible experience, he deserves the upmost respect. He's a lovely human being and just a pleasure all round to be taught by him, he's great company and you'll also a have good laugh with him in the car as he has a great personality and sense of humour. There's no worries when it comes to being safe out on the roads, he's always prepared for any situation as he's had plenty of years driving and teaching. I very highly recommend getting in touch with this instructor if you're planning on starting lessons, doing an intensive course or simply want to go for anew instructor, he will not disappoint. I can happily say I've had one of my best experiences of my life during this two and a half week course, absolutely superb and a lot of fun, he's taught me so much and that's why it's been so effective.

So as I work full time shifts the days and hours I work each week are different. As we are Short staffed at the minute & needed shifts covering I offered to do them. My driving instructor had been ignoring my texts for almost a week as I wanted to book another lesson after having to cancel due to work. I finally get a message from her to say that she will no longer be teaching me. She owes me £92! For my remaining lessons but is arguing that that is her money! As I paid in full for 10 lessons I still had 4 remaining. When I first started my lessons she said to me she would always work around her pupils as they are paying her to work. Not in this case!

I found the LDC system to be simple and effective. It allowed me to develop my driving skills and learn better techniques. The system is also structured well. I passed first time after receiving tuition from my LDC instructor, who is an amazing instructor. I would recommend LDC to anyone who wishes to follow a structure and develop their skills logically. I am pleased I chose to go with LDC!

I went with LDC as someone else had bought my lessons as a gift and had picked them....what a mistake that was. 1. Insructor knew I had paid upfront and had been told its as many lessons as it takes, so he basically had a blank cheque, and after 20 lesson i "still not there yet" despite new instuctor saying im pretty much there, though I had a few bad habits, which my LDC instructor had let me do without correcting it. 2. He was late... EVERYTIME. Each week was a new excuse,Sick Dad,sick Dog,sick instructor. One time he was late because he couldnt find his glasses.... 45 mins later he shows up. I was only ever given a text about 20 mins before my lesson. 3. He would never answer the phone/return my calls. would take hours sometimes days to reply. 4.Lessons would always finish between 5-10 mins early, so he would just sit in the car checking his phone. I would NEVER recommen to anyone. He wasted so much of my time and money, was the worst decision.

I was keen to learn to drive whilst starting my second year of University, however, within the 11 months of learning, I was repeatedly told that 'my brain worked differently from other learners' and that 'the dots were not connecting'. This made me feel as though I was incapable of learning and disheartened me quite a bit, I was made to feel like I was stupid. My instructor was vaping during lessons and often shouted at me, at one point mentioning the fact that 'I could kill a child'. I often dreaded lessons, and did not find them enjoyable. After 10 months of learning and a really bad lesson where the instructor threatened to drive me home after 15 minutes as I was making too many mistakes, he insisted that the next lesson we go back to the beginning and learn all over again. This is when I decided to stop having lessons and now I am looking for a new instructor elsewhere after convincing myself to start again after 10 months. I feel as though I had wasted allot of money. Overall the instructor was very thorough and without a doubt very skilled, but just not right for me.

I was very disappointed with the instructor from LCD driving school. I am a nervous driver and I wanted to take few lessons to gain confidence. I am more nervous than I was before I started the driving lessons. The instructor really put me down. After our last lesson, he advised me to contact him when I sort out whatever was happening in my head. He also told me 'minimum driving'. How am I going to learn to drive properly if I am not driving?! Is this what a good teacher is doing, giving up of his students? I feel like I wasted my time and money.

I had an intensive course with my instructor (covers Rugby and Coventry areas), it was definitely a waste of money. I had 30 hours with her over a 3 weeks & made little progress. After the 3 week course, she let me do my test despite the fact I could hardly drive without stalling and had severe anxiety while driving. The examiner who took me for my test even commented I shouldn't have taken the test and was surprised I was even advised to do/allowed so in the first place. She basically let me do a test I had no hope of passing. Her teaching style is very spoon fed. She let me believe I actually had some hope of passing, a real professional driving instructor would not allow anyone do a test who can't even drive without stalling or having panic attacks, to then ditch their pupil the following afternoon. Basically took me for a ride, ditched me and made £700 out of it. Steer clear!

I had terrible experience with LDC driving school. My instructor was impatient and always yelled at me and had very deep accent that was impossible at times to understand. but most shockingly he was half asleep most of the time. It didn’t matter what time the lesson was he was always dead tired and kept falling asleep during my driving. This put too much stress on me as a learner.(and so dangerous obviously). He did not complete my course blaming me being not ready yet and didn’t refund me back 4 hours worth of lessons that I payed in advance. Don’t be fooled by all positive reviews on their individual websites as they are clearly selective. Don’t be fooled by this company’s Youtube videos.their instructors are just random guys working under their name, nothing like that super nice guy in videos. I wasted over £700.

I had a driving instructor from LDC in Birmingham an I can say I'm appalled at the way my instructor had treated me. At first I actually thought he was a genuine person but then when I've booked my drivers test again after I have failed he turned around and said he was on holiday to Austria an won't be back till December. That's not why I'm upset about what I am upset about is in fact that he's not in Austria an how do I know this is because my friend booked a lesson towards the end of September an my test was at the beginning of September so how come he can do the lesson an not take me to my test. LAIR LAIR shame on you.
