Only Use If You Can Afford Giving Your Time To Oversee Job

Over 12 months late on delivery of project due to not fulfilling their contract with me the first time around and having to completely rebuild my orangerie extension due to not meeting building regulations or even applying for planning until I contacted local council myself, a complete knock down and re build was required due to a terrible standard of Work the first time. Due to this rebuild being required my house was open to the elements for 12 months +

Finally after contacting building control the complete rebuild was complete , still waiting the promised clean down and warranty to be issued.

I most certainly would not wish anyone else to experience the last 18 months that I have had with securahome , so even though they have now nearly completed the job and rectified their mistakes, I most certainly would never recommend this company to anyone.

I’ve got a similar problem, conservatory fitted in 2019 and still trying to get a leak resolved with the internal damage getting worse by the week.

No one ever returns calls or responds to emails.

Did you get another company and claim the cost back?

We had a similar issue going back to 2016 where my 96 year old Nan had a new conservatory roof which started leaking after 6 months causing considerable damage to the walls, floor and electric radiator. They fobbed her off for 3 years doing patch repairs and then she eventually told us what was going on. We got involved and Securahome replaced the cavity trays which fixed the leak. They promised to sort out the internal damage but never did. We took them to court and won £4500 to cover our costs and compensation for the stress my Nan experienced.

I totally agree with you. Waited months for our conservatory to be built, excuse after excuse! Then finally a builder did turn up just to dump waste from another job into our skip, you cannot make this up! Their view of a finished floor is the poured concrete, no screed whatsoever. We were told when laying the flooring to "double up on the foam underlay" We walk downhill to sit down, put a marble down and it rolls all the way to the wall. Electrical sockets that won't turn off, they were like that when their electrician installed them. Freezing cold in the winter due to a gale blowing through as the frames have not been sealed, lead flashing cement has shrunk in size to allow water in hence dampness inside and to finish it off one of the bars on the doors has broken away. Avoid them like a plague just lie after lie. My wife phoned them about the door and their "insurance backed guarantee" they brag about only to be told we are not sending anyone out as you owe us £500. £500? I took out finance for this £20,000 plus for their conservatory/ orangery . Sorry I ever done it, emails after emails have been sent to no avail.

Conservatory And Windows

I've recently had a replacement conservatory, new windows and doors. I am absolutely delighted with the high quality product and the professional workmanship provided. I knew exactly what I wanted and Securahome exceeded all expectations. This is the second time I have used them and would recommend their business. Thank you Securahome, I'm a very happy lady!

Don't/won't Own Up To Their Guarantee

Love the design and the workmanship of the building as a whole , however....Front door lock failed, numerous calls to securahome to no avail....I had to repair it myself.

Rear door lock failed, this time I called ********* who was very apologetic and sent someone out right away, the fitter removed the bolt from bottom of the door and told us he would order some new parts, almost 2 months ago now, the door won't pull itself in and let's in draught and cold.

I fear for the next thing to fail and leave our home unsecured.

We have only recently come across this review site and as this was a while ago how was it resolved?

Good Quality At Reasonable Prices

Have used Securahome a few times for various Double Glazing needs (upvc back door, French door, porch door, upvc bathroom windows, composite front door) and I have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable, quality is great. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, from quote to completion. I can't comment on how they are at dealing with problems, as I've never had a problem I've needed to complain about. I have recommended to many people, and will be using again myself.

Quality Conservatory From A Company That Cares

Our new conservatory is stunning. Whilst it took longer than expected to complete, we are delighted with the quality of the finished work, and the attention to detail afforded throughout. Each representative of Securahome was expert at their job and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure things are just right. Lovely people to deal with. We went for the Ultraframe roof with pelmets and downlights. We also decided on Decstone cills and skirting boards, and externally we added a cornice - all of which enhance the look of the conservatory. Our tiled floor looks superb too. It was definitely worth waiting for! Thanks!

Lovely Front Porch

I just had a new porch constructed by Securahome, the builder was excellent and the job went very well, the only slight problem was their lines were always busy but this is expected from a busy popular company

Do Not Touch With A Barge Pole

I have had a set of Bifold doors supplied and fitted by Securahome after 6 years they are literally falling apart, the door handles have broke the door roller wheels have collapsed and the doors themselves keep requiring adjustment so much so that the bolts used to adjust them the threads have worn away. I have been trying to get Securahome to sort out these problems but they ignore my phone calls so much so I got the Warranty company involved and they could not get a response. It turns out that the warranty is only for Securahome going into liquadation and has nothing to do with poor workmanship.

Lovely New Loggia Conservatory And Windows

I thought I would write a this review as no one ever seems to write good ones!!!!

We just had a new designer loggia conservatory from Securahome, the design consultant was excellent and provided us with drawings and a written quotation which other companies we invited to quote were very reluctant to offer.

They built the conservatory during June and July, the weather was not the best but they dealt with it excellently (one or two delays but that was to be expected in those conditions)the finish is great and it has totally transformed our house, the idea to move the conservatory over to the other side of my garden to combine my kitchen was great as now come home and sit at night looking at the stars after our evening meal

Potpaint

Has anyone experienced the brown colour coating peeling off their conservatory, and if so, has the company done anything about it?
