Recently had an extension / Orangery , one and the same thing. Either way it looks absolutely fantastic. Warm, insulated exactly what I would expect and more. Super chuffed with how it’s come together over these past couple of months. 5 stars from me.

The best advice I can give is to avoid this company! The worst customer service ever. One year on I still don’t have aspects I have paid for and ill fitted windows and a broken door to be fixed. They never pick up the phone or reply to emails, don’t turn up on agreed dates and when they do, don’t have all the agreed outstanding items to finish the job. Have the audacity to claim poorly fitted windows are not their fault and I’ve had to prove twice, I’m still outstanding items I’ve paid for they’re claiming they were offering out of the kindness of their heart- which I’ve still not had. The most shambolic company I’ve ever come across- now taking it up legally and through trading standards having exhausted every other route to resolve. He is a joke of an MD, always too busy speaking to accountants to actually be available to customers that keep his business going. The irony that they respond to reviews faster than paying customer queries has not gone unnoticed.

This company does not answer the phone, and does not honour warranties - we have problems only a few months after the works are complete & they are not fixing the problem. I will be going to my Credit card to get money back now. I wish i read these reviews before i contracted them, i would have never used them & will not recommend them to anyone. Their even staff say all jobs are the same & they dont know how they are still in business

Customer service good when they were securing the contract. Shocking since. 5 months delay. Measured several doors wrong. Then when they eventually returned to comple they had forgot to order some of the doors and windows and had brought the wrong size glass. Fitters happen to he great but some of the key personnel show little accountability for resolving their failures. They routinely don't get back to me when I call. I am still waiting for an installation date.

Myself and my partner have had a fantastic experience with the team at Basfords. We dealt with a representative who ensured our sales and fitting was as smooth as possible. We have had loads of compliments already regarding our sliding doors. Would use again.

Three years on from an issue with our roof glass, and still no solution from them. I pity the poor people who...occasionally...answer the phone.(The company will not get back to you in spite of promises) Lots of reviews around in a similar vein. We are about to take legal action against them. Don't go near them! If I could have left no stars, I would have!

What a relief to find a great company on my doorstep ,first of all as a ex engineer i had done a lot of research on products . I knew i wanted origin products and Basfords had been voted by origin dealer of the year for the last 10 years . Good start then we visited 3 local showrooms and the showroom at basfords was far the best with a lot of other brands available. The knowledge of the sales staff was far superior and the advice we received on the specs of glass reinforced our confidence. We received a quote at the time of our visit comparing this to the other two company’s we decided to order with basfords. They were the cheapest for the same products ,their manager explained this was because they dont pay commission to staff as they were a Family business and they were a much larger concern with orign so had better discounts . We had a survey with the fitters came to fit our windows and bifold doors . Thanks to the representative in the office .

My friend next door just had her bifolds installed by Basfords. They look fantastic, I am currently in the market for some myself and possibly a front door also. She is of a prior generation and does not have a phone so I am putting this review on for her. She highly recommends Basfords.

Orangery built by Basford windows Nottingham, but after that Basford windows will not honour a guarantee or reply at 11 emails, 7 calls to fix a leaking roof. Was told they do not have enough staff. No one available to fix the leaking roof at all! Got someone else in to repair it after 3 months of complete ignorance by Basford windows Nottingham...

We recently had our orangery completed by Basfords and cannot fault anything. The service from start to finish has been superb and we have already recommended them to friends of ours.

It makes a refreshing change to deal with a family company who are totally professional and deliver what they say. We have recently engaged Basfords for a large project with aluminium doors and windows to a newbuild we are currently undertaking. The fitters were exceptional Very tidy asked all the right questions how we would like the frames setting this was important as we are cladding on the outside . Sales was extremely helpful on the sales side with no pressure given all the technical specification we required for our structural engineer with the Gables and all the calculations for the energy side to our architect. We will Continue to recommend your company thank you .
