JOC removed and replaced my parents conservatory. There were slight niggles the whole way through the build. The finished product is poor. Lots of snagging issues that took a while to correct. Approximately 18 months down the line movement has occurred and sills and ledges are all stained.

Somebody at Oliver's certainly has a sense of humour. They have sent us yet again one of their brochures. All the stress they put my wife & I through in 2018 when constructing a conservatory for us, not forgetting out of pocket additional expenses. I will try and keep this brief. They built the conservatory and we then discovered that just about every pane of glass that was fitted was badly scratched, and I mean badly scratched. We then spent a considerable amount of time and expense trying to get them to rectify the situation as they dug their heels in, refusing to do anything about it. I even went to the expense of paying a professional photographer to photo the scratches as we were deadly serious in pursuing this matter. Eventually they rather reluctantly agreed to replace the said panes. It all smacked of we've got your money, it's built, but now we are not interested. And they have the cheek to send us brochures !!!!, still they are good for lighting the fire.

My new door and surround has just been installed , great fitter , super looking job , excellent service I don't know how some of these reviews can be for the same company. Totally happy 3 doors in the same street something they do must be right Many thanks M and E Barton

Please do not touch James-Oliver Conservatories (based in Lincoln) with a 10ft barge pole, their customer service and after sales support is absolutely abysmal. They are by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with, they fit doors and windows knowing that parts are missing or haven’t been supplied as part of the installation, only to then take months of haggling and chasing trying to get your newly installed doors and windows finished. If I had been informed before the installation took place that key parts to complete the works were missing, I would never have allowed them to proceed with the install. I now have poor fitting shoddy doors and windows that allow the draft to come in and still no date set for when this is going to be rectified. They only told me parts were missing 30 mins before the job was supposed to be complete, leaving me no choice but to put up with this sub-par fitting service. After months of e-mails and telephone calls I still have no idea when the works will be finished. Do NOT use this company, they are a bunch of con-artists.

Only asked if permission was given from the customers for the sales representative to show photos of customer properties of installations carried out. I only request was that I didn’t want our photos shown to other customers and asked if they would delete the photos taken of our property after work was carried out. Sales representative said never been asked in all there years and got offended and said he would not quote for the work. Left in a hurry.

James Oliver conservatories did not adhere to their guarantee. They assured me work would be done under the guarantee but 2 weeks later told me it was not covered. The 10 year guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on. A letter of complaint was not even replied to and their office staff were rude and hostile. AVOID THIS COMPANY if you want an honest reliable after sales service.

Highly recommended! We are happy with previous job and decided to continue with James Oliver. Different unknown people come arround the house to complete different jobs. All very polite and easy to talk with. We like to thank you to a special member of staff who taken the old conservatory down and built a new one, as well as putting in a sliding door. He didn't only leave a piece of art behind him but while here, doing the job, was opened to explain and to reassure us ( mostly me) regarding following steps which I was concerned about. He definitely did the job on the highest standards! We did appreciated as well the plastures and electricians staff. They did a great job! * To improve, the same person should do all the jobs ''with exception ''. * The communication between James Oliver and costumers will be better if there are updates every time with following jobs. * There has been only one member of staff which didn't had the same view regarding quality finishing details. However James Oliver acted and sent someone else. Thank you all from the office and we are looking forward to be working again with you!

Excellent Customer Support from this member of staff. I initially called the company to enquire if they had any Canterbury Bistro Outdoor Furniture available. My late afternoon call was taken by the answering machine and was responded to promptly by the staff member who took my note of my requirements and said the store had no stock but that they would check win Daro to see if there were any stock still available from the Manufacturer as this style was now discontinued. Later that evening I received an email saying sorry "No Canterbury" stock available. However the staff member informed me that a range that would be a close match was the Auckland Bistro set and that this could be delivered within 2 weeks. They also said they had put a brochure in the post which I should receive in the morning (which I did) so I could see the full Daro range including the Auckland Bistro set. I received the brochure the very next day and then called the staff member the following morning to get a quote and confirm delivery dates (if an order placed). I informed the staff member that I had also seen a similar product at a local garden center but a being offered a lot cheaper. The staff member advised me to recheck that it was actually Rattan not the soft weave (plastic to look like rattan) before making a decision.The staff member was very knowledgeable about the product I already had (Canterbury) and gave me valuable advice to ensure I was selecting the correct product. I returned to the competitor shop and checked the style and weave of their product and found that it was rattan with the same weave and would match my Canterbury range. With the price offered together with immediate delivery I decided to purchase from this supplier. I am more than helpful in all ways I had decided to purchase elsewhere on this occasion mainly due to immediate availability of product with price comparison being the secondary reason. I emailed the staff member the following day to inform them of my decision and to thank them for their support. I was surprised but delighted to receive a return email from the staff member thanking me for letting them know and pleased I had been able to find a product that suited my needs and hoped that I would consider using their services in the future if required. I would like to point out that I am an NVQ assessor in Customer Services and this would be the first time in my many years of assessing in this sector that the personal service delivered by this staff member to be exceptional. His expert product knowledge together with his attention to supporting me in finding a match for my present rattan range was that added "personal touch" that ALL customers look for but these days rarely receive. On this occasion I was genuinely sorry that I had to inform the staff member I would be purchasing elsewhere. I would also like to point out that I contacted 2 other Daro suppliers and would rate them regarding customer service and satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 10 as follows: James Oliver = 10+ Supplier 1 = 8+ Supplier 2 = 4- To James Oliver Company and staff - Thank you in restoring my faith in Customer Service.

The product, the fitters were exemplary, clean, efficient and friendly. They made a superb job of our replacement roof. In contrast the Office staff were shocking, there was no communication, and I was treated with disinterest when raising issues with them. ie. Where was the delivery that we had waited in to receive for a day, only to be told the "driver had gone sick that morning", but no phone call to tell us that. No acknowledgement of my two payments to the Company, until again I had to ring the office, two weeks after payment, to be told that the "Lady who does the accounts was on holiday". I would recommend the product (replacement solid roof), but Customer service is woeful.

We found exactly what we were looking for and got excellent lights. They have an extensive high quality range available and I am so glad we cam here rather than buying from DIY or high street stores. Great service and knowledgeable advice to. All good!

The sales adviser that dealt with us was exemplary, despite only working there for three months. We thought he had been there for years. This made all the difference with our purchase despite the fact we were let down with our first choice of fabric and had to return to the show room to choose again.The showroom was well laid out and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The other staff members that we encountered were very nice. Our purchase arrived on date and time and the delivery men were very polite and helpful. We would recommend this company.

From the start we had a pleasant experience with James Oliver Conseratories. The sales team showed us various products without being too pushy. The price was upfront and nothing changed after it was agreed. The sales approach was flexible as we bought our own light fitting and skirting boards. The builder was a skilled tradesman who has done a very good standard of work. We bought the steel frame and the whole process was completed very quickly. There was a minor issue with the colour of the mortar which was very quickly resolved and the finished product is fantastic. A massive thanks to James Oliver Conservatories.

James Oliver had a huge range from which to choose, but were willing to get into the showroom a single chair that we had seen in a catalogue . The sales man was very helpful without being to "pushy". This was a positive shopping experience.

Firstly, our new Guardian Conservatory Roof. Will in the showroom was very thorough and knowledgable in explaining the Guardian conservatory roof, showing us the installation material as well as the different type of tiles used, lighting and timescales. The installer was excellent. He was committed, very experienced, thorough and kept us up to date throughout the installation. Highly recommended. After researching the cost of replacing our conservatory roof we chose the Guardian system despite the fact it was not the cheapest. The product and the quality of the tiles convinced us this was the best system for us. We also managed to see the new showroom roof in the middle of installation which was an added bonus. We chose Tappco red slate which was more expensive as each tile is individually installed rather than in sheet format. It proved an excellent choice once installed at our home. Secondly, our conservatory furniture. The person we dealt with was also excellent in his approach to our needs. Never "pushy" and very helpful even when we kept changing our minds on what furniture to choose. Well done. We are very happy with the service provided by all the James Oliver team. Many thanks

After visiting a number of retailers and searching online we returned to James Oliver to purchase our conservatory furniture. They offered the best selection at competitive prices. We wanted the furniture quickly and the friendly, efficient staff went out of their way to ensure that it was delivered on the required date. We are delighted with the furniture and the service we received from the James Oliver team.

Decided to change polycarbonate roof to glass on our conservatory. James Oliver provided good service - pre installation, during installation and after sales. They resolved a couple of small issues quickly and without fuss. An all-round good service.

Just to say what a gent he is ,having had a glass ceiling light shade fail ,fall and shatter ,I visited James Oliver's showroom where I purchased the light 3 years or so ago ,without my receipt I might add . I explained what had happened to him, and he found ,ordered a replacement (£25 ) and said he would try to contact them on my behalf to see if they would help out re the replacement. Not holding out much hope I received a phone call the next day to say that the company were prepared to replace it free of charge . Many thanks for your help and how nice it is to have someone do what they promised .

Fabulous job giving us a new room we can use all year round. All staff and site workers excellent both polite and efficient. We've since had further bi-fold doors fitted and new cushions made for our conservatory suite. Service was again excellent - a shortage to order was followed with courier delivery service though not requested. Many thanks to all at Olivers.
