i would give this a o star if i could..

brought my laptop a little while back now from the Basingstoke store. (lenova,ideapad 310) I went along to the store in the hope of getting a smallish laptop around the 300£ mark, with a dvd/cd drive and a large memory as I was at the time using a note book with a 2gb which wasn't enough for me. I spoke to a guy who showed me around a few laptops they had on display and I came away with a massive thing, huge memory which was great and a dvd thingy mabob on the side. I didn't really want a large one but that was all they had if i wanted one with a dvd drive, and it was a lot more than what I wanted to spend but overall i was happy with my purchase. however!.. a couple months or so later I went to watch a film and couldn't figure out how to open the dvd drive so I phoned them up and they said to bring it in so I did.. after a 30 minute drive into Basingstoke I brought it along to the store and took it to the desk and handed it over to the guy, and with in 5 seconds he turned round and said to me oh actually this is not a dvd drive.. this is just something that looks like one if you wanted to add one you could! he then went on saying I could buy one from the store as a usb dvd cd drive. and I said to him why would I want to buy one from here for 30 odd pounds after ive just brought a 500 pound laptop being told it had all my specifications i had said i wanted and then being told ive not got a dvd drive. I might as well have just kept my note book. the whole reason I spent this money was to get a laptop to watch films and upload music to my phone etc and I cant. I couldn't return it as there was nothing wrong with it but the guy who sold me the laptop clearly didn't know what he was on about with the laptop, as he just looked at it and told me. Next time I will just look around myself or even better go some where else!!!! worse than pets at home, the staff know nothing about the laptops , and he was quite rude as well to my son. never again will I go to there to buy anything.
