haddyanne's review of Wagg Complete Dog Food

“suits the dog well”

★★★★☆

written by haddyanne on 31/01/2014

Having just watched the channel 5 doc on dog food I have to say I was rather appalled by both sides of the question. We have fed all our dogs Wagg and they were great, healthy, happy and good teeth. The only worry I have is the addition of propylene glysulphate I think (something found in antifreeze) Will carry on as normal and give our Lab brown rice and veg twice a week and Wagg for the rest of the time.

We have been using Wainwrights as our adopted dog came with it - been wanting to change food to something more economical. We are introducing him to Wagg but have read so many mixed reviews on it. I also watched the C5 doc and found it really interesting. Am considering feeding rice and veg as well. Have you ever had any problems feeding your lab Wagg? I've got a cocker.

Dear Mallick9 we have had two labs, a rough collie and a Scottie. They all lived a healthy and happy life dying in their mid teens. Our current dog is a black who is 3 (definitely the last) and we took our daughters advice and fed her Bakers which was a mistake. The poor dog seemed to poo more than she had eaten. Went back to Wagg and have had no problems. She is well, dental hygene great She loved the cooked brown rice and carrots she ate today so will carry on with that twice a week. I am sure your cocker spaniel will thrive just as well..

We've ordered a bag so fingers crossed. Do you feed rice and Veg just on its own on those two days?

all the best with Wagg. Yes twice a week for the rice and veggies just on their own.

Abbey (our Black lab) had brown rice with raw grated carrots plus some cooked broccoli left from yesterday. Gobbled it all up and do be a bit basic her poo was good. We have always fed our dogs wagg but the introduction of rice and veggies seems to work well.Thank you channel 5 hope you are successful with your feeding plan
