Never having a dog before I needed help and advice in teaching her basic obedience. I felt it was very important to have a happy and well trained dog. My main concern was that she would not respond/return when called and clearly this was a safety concern for me. Scott is a very competent, professional and patient trainer. Lottie was so responsive and not only did she learn the basic commands, she excelled and learnt to respond to visual cues and would return when called. It was amazing to see Lottie responding in the classes and i was so proud when she transferred these skills into everyday life! Scott was very helpful and would offer advice on any other 'issues' that would crop up. Both Lottie and I enjoyed the classes and we were very sad when it came to an end. Scott was very encouraging and gave lots of advice on how to continue with the training, when the classes finished.

I first contacted Scott at Take the lead to help me control Rocco on the lead, and within 1 hour we were seeing vast changes in the way Rocco focused on us when walking, Rather than everything around him like a bird another dog or even a leaf!! Scott was very easy to get along with and Rocco took to him and the way he worked straight away. It seemed like he instantly respected him. I was very happy with my time with Scott and would recommend him to everyone if i could!

My husband and I have a Jack Russell. His behaviour was really unruly, he would go mental whenever we had visitors to the house. If we went out for a walk he would constantly try and bite his lead and pull whoever was walking him forward like he was in charge. If we went past any other dogs, he would go ballistic!
