BT used to stand for good British service. You used them because your mum did and they were so established. The 118500 service is a shocking example of abuse of public trust and how low BT have sunk. I am an intelligent and reasonably savvy person but I was shocked by the cost of 2 calls to this number even when I never let them out me through. Vulnerable people must be really getting ripped off. Shame on you BT.
