I received a gift of a wallet that was £300+. Badly packaged and not with the cloth cover from the luxury brand but a cheap selfridges cotton drawstring bag. The box itself looked recycled with very creased paper. If it wasn't a gift I would have returned it. My strong suspicion is this item that was supposedly brand new had been recycled or used and repackaged to send out again. You are better off ordering from the designer directly or from Harrods or Harvey Nichols where quality is assured at every step.
