I have ordered a Whirly floor lamp from BHS, 12 days later I did not receive it and had to call up the company to check why. It turned out that the lamp was damaged in transit so was returned to the warehouse. No one has called me to inform me of anything. I got a refund and had to order another one on the phone because they could not resend out a new lamp for me on the same order (?). The first order I got 20% and was told I will have the same 20% off on my second order because it was not my fault. This did not happen, when I checked my credit card I was charged the normal price. Another week passed by and I still have not received the lamp. Again I called up (was a nightmare to get to talk to someone on the phone) and was told that my lamp was damaged on the way (again) and was returned to the warehouse. Again nobody informed me anything. My husband had to hang around all the time for the delivery because the tracking status keeps saying "out for delivery". I got a refund finally. So in brief, I waited three weeks for a delivery that never came, with a lot of troubles. I planned to have the lamp in before my house warming party but of course that did not happen. Very very disappointed. Do not plan to buy from BHS again.
