Amazing how dentist have advanced. I've always had a phobia with dentists based on old experiences. So bitting the bullit I went to Ocean Drive Dental Care for scale and polish and 7 fillings. I met the dentist and assistant both made me very relaxed. Explained the various treatment available. After an hours treatment i was glad to say it was pain free, they were very patient. Big thanks to friendly understanding staff cheers JP.

“Clean - Efficient - Reliable - Excellent After Care”

I have been a patient at Ocean Drive for over a year now and the service provided has been excellent. I have had 4 implants inserted; which at first had me very nervous but after I met the team I felt extremely excited about the prospect of having teeth again! My initial consultation was great -I was greeted by the full team that would be working on my teeth, the clinic was extremely clean and I felt comfortable about the whole procedure, after surgery the dentist gave his personal mobile number and phoned me throughout the week which is rare! - usually you never speak to your dentist for months at a time. I now have time booked with an orthopaedic dentist to raise my gums and then I will return to Ocean Drive to have the final part of my plan completed. I genuinely can't talk highly enough of my dentist and his team, they are a credit to the whole industry. Thanks Ocean Drive.

Simply the best care and professionalism you can get. Always let you know what treatment is needed and even shows you what is wrong by the use of cameras. Never had a problem with the dentist and have always appreciated the work that I have needed done. Would recommend anyone to get any of their dental treatment done withthe person I dealt with.

“My Front Tooth Dental Implant Experience”

In general I don't like going to the dentist, as like many. I underwent Dental Implant Treatment on my front tooth, and had a Cerec Crown with Root Canal Treatment on my back tooth with Dr Bashir. Both treatments were successful and I was very satisfied with the end result. My smile is very important to me so I was a bit apprehensive having treatment. However Dr Bashir and his assistant Gosia who is a qualified dental nurse and dental technician were very friendly and informative throughout the whole treatment. I feel Dr Bashir comes with a wealth of knowledge and I found him to have very high clinical skill sets, which he has empowered his support staff with. My complete treatment was pain free, which delighted me. The practice is well maintained and All staff members are very competent, both treatments were done to a high standard and I believe I will have both Implant and Cerec crown for the next couple of decades at the very least. I would highly recommend this dental practice to my friends and family, or anyone with a dental phobia like myself.

“What can I say...”

Excellent service if you chose private. I have no issues with my teeth, I just like a check up to keep them healthy (only required a tiny filling and a scale and polish and possible information about a future implant). Excellent options and services offered after my first consultation, until I choose NHS treatment. I felt weird, neglected, and treated like a 'sheep' (...next!). Recently, I've been treated by one Dr  and 'Because of her' I've recommended and registered someone else here. All the respect for her, she's trying to help more, I think, because of others attitude. She was very nice and professional. Just not trying to be too paranoid, but it is possible in the first consultation the xray not to work (which is meant to be free) and than to be introduced in the following treatment cost list (that wasn't for me)? Whatever... I just want to change it now... Best of luck

“Avoid this place! ”

The dentists themselves are fine.. However they are the car salesmen of the dentist world! Dentists aren't allowed to give recommendations... They refer you to their sales women who insists you go private over NHS, even for simple work! More money making than patient care beware!!!!

“Really excellent service”

Every visit I've made to Ocean Drive has been a pleasure and I find myself laughing as I write that about a Dentist!! The service I've received has always been extremely professional and being a bit of a wimp, I've always really appreciated the warmth and understanding of the staff. Making an appointment is always fast and efficient without the usual ignorant and prying attitude shown by so many healthcare receptions. The ladies on the phone and front desk are efficient, helpful and most of all friendly. I had to have an emergency procedure and everyone from the lovely ladies on reception to the dentist herself made me feel important and well taken care of. The procedure was done with the utmost care and professionalism with really great results. The teeth whitening service in particular is excellent and really good value and I received lots of great feedback. Even if I wasn't an NHS patient I would definitely pay privately to visit Ocean Drive, I really can't say enough good things about them.

“best dentist ever”

I went to this clinic on recommendation of a good friend. Having not seen a dentist for 10 years, I was in pain, they accomodated an appointment the next morning. I was impressed that I got a text message as confirmation, the dentist was very nice and extremely efficient, my pain went within hours. Then I was given all kinds of options, and asked what is important for me. It is the most efficient, modern and friendly dentist I ever saw.

“Very poor customer service”

Great greek dentist, nice modern facilities but management ineffective and unprofessional. After receiving incorrect advice regarding home tooth whitening I had discolouration and swelling of my gums and no improvement in the colour. Following discussion with 'management' (in inverted commas as no one introduced themselves so I wasnt quite sure who anyone was), it was suggested I could pay (at cost price) for more bleach (even though it was because of the lack of/incorrect advice that the treatment hadnt worked). While I was reading the info re to tooth whitening (I had suggested it might be a good idea for patients to be given written info), a member of staff produced some expired vials of bleach from her handbag which she said were good for a year. However, afterwards when I'd had time to reflect, I was not satisfied with how my complaint had been handled and so wrote to the practice. It took 6 weeks to get a resolution and that was only after several phone calls from myself re the lack of response. I was constantly fobbed off, being told the manager was on holiday or was bereaved. I couldnt understand why no one else could deal with my complaint in her absence. Unsurprisingly, I left the practice very soon after which was unfortunate as the dentist was excellent. ps I'm still waiting on a reply to my letter of complaint to the owner of the practice and that was last year!

After Reading your review it sounds exactly the same as the problems I came across with the same practice!
Out of date products, fobbed off when trying to talk to the manager, no remorse for the damage they had done and I found it very suspicious that only Forign dentists have worked there who only stay for a year then leave!
The so call treatment co-ordinator who again was new from the last one I saw had NO IDEA who I was or what treatment I'd had or what I needed done!!
After months of all this stress I'd finally had enough and am now taking legal action agains them for medical negligance.
I have been lied to about treatment I was supposed to be getting and now my teeth are ruined! So badly that I will have to wear dentures for the rest of my life!
Also, as far as I am aware there should be no personal relationships between employees but at ocean drive THE MANAGER Is currently in a relationship with another employee.

I would be eternally greateful if you would or could be a kind of reference/evidence for my law suit. If not, even a letter to the GDC telling them your story would help me massively.

I hope u can help me in some way as my life is ruined by them!!
If you get in touch I can tell you more about my story and I'm sure you will be shocked and amazed by what they have done and how I have been treated.
Surgerys like this NEED to be reported as they are making millions of pounds and don't give a toss what damage they cause people.
Ps the owner also owns a yachting company abroad plus othere muli million pound investments!
