DO NOT USE STEPCHANGE

Having got in to a bit of trouble paying off debts I decided to contact StepChange to help me out. In the beginning this seemed like the solution to all my problems and I couldn't wait to have no money related stress.. How wrong I was.

From day one my creditors were harassing me for payments etc which I just ignored thinking that StepChange were dealing with this. I was keeping track of all payments being made on my behalf and this looked great.. Only to then check my accounts and see that balances had WENT UP since starting my plan!!! They were not paying my accounts in a way that was helping my situation!!

I called up StepChange to discuss this only to be told they would not help.. So I closed my account and contacted my creditors directly!!

Entering a DMP seems like a good idea when everything seems hopeless but NEVER AGAIN would I use such a company!! They make money off of people in desperate situations and take full advantage!!!
