Maybe I was just very lucky but I met someone with my first contact, both I and my new partner were serious about looking for someone special and we are both now very happy together. The downside of Parship was that when I joined there was an offer for 6 months membership, and it was impossible to join for the 3 month cheaper option, also you cannot see faces clearly nor access any replies until you have parted with cash, so you are really not sure what you are getting until you hand over the cash, but then maybe that means you do not get so many time-wasters on this site. I cancelled my membership without any problems, though my new partner forgot about the auto-renewal and lost £100 which Parship will not give back even though he contacted them the day after the money was taken, so make sure you cancel before renewal. If I were single again I would give Parship another try.
