The person I dealt with in sales form Lakeside was very helpful at very short notice due to an emergency at a school on a Friday morning for work to be carried out on Saturday. The scaffold was delivered by Friday lunchtime,Then collection was made on Monday as planned. Cost and service was great.

When you hire equipment its not always easy to explain what you need, but when a company has the confidence to create all the answers on a clear concise website, you have the ability to order the exact items you need and see the prices and what all your various parts and bits and pieces amounts to. The process is even followed up by a phone call confirming what you have ordered and checking on your delivery schedule, how many companies do that ? The equipment arrived in very good condition with full detailed paper work on how to erect it and also what procedure to follow when you have completed your hire and finished with it. I was working to a bit of a dead line and to get the equipment delivered with a couple of days of my order, all complete nothing missing was spot on.

I found Lakeside to be very competitive on price, and they delivered the hoist when promised. Sadly, when the hoist was fitted to the scaffold, it was found to be defective. Lakeside promised a replacement within a day, or to try to find a local fitter to look at the defective unit immediately . The latter could not happen, because of my remote location, and it was actually two days before a replacement unit arrived on site. This seemed to have been a problem with a local depot, Lakeside personnel genuinely seemed to be frustrated that one had not been sent out sooner. On all occasions which I contacted Lakeside, their staff were helpful and friendly. So indeed were the staff of the local hire company Lakeside used. In the event Lakeside refunded the full cost of the hire, charging only for the delivery and collection of the equipment; this I felt was perfectly reasonable. Despite the above problems, I would look to use Lakeside again.

I would highly recommend LakeSide hire to anyone. They are professional yet friendly and understand the importance of customer service. We hired x4 genies. They did not have them on hand, but they kindly sourced them for us. They go the extra mile to make sure the customer gets what they want. You 100% pay for what you get and more! Just so impressed. Will definitely be using them again!

An easy to use website enabled me to assess and select the appropriate scaffolding equipment for the height of job. The website video and written instructions for erecting and dismantling the scaffolding units was informative. Direct contact over the telephone/email with staff was at all times efficient and polite. The equipment was delivered on time and was in first class condition and clearly itemised. Definately a safer way to paint at height rather than use a ladder. I would have no qualms on using or recommending Lakeside-Hire now or in the future. Thank you for your excellant service.
