Our travel agent at eWaterways was fabulous. She answered every question and called me back when necessary. The traditional yacht cruise served a much bigger breakfast than expected and a lunch so big we hardly needed dinner. Our mini cruise stopped for the night in two different ports both special in their own way. Cabins were tight but we expected that. It was a fun adventure.

I must admit I was skeptical at first. I did plenty of price comparing between the so called "cruise experts" and was surprised to find eWaterways a more affordable choice. From the very start, our booking agent Ruxandra was very professional and knowledgeable. But there was also a very likable "human factor" when she spoke of her own travel experiences and gave us great tips for making the most of our trip. I would book again with Ruxandra and eWaterways. Our cruise from Basel to Amsterdam was all we had hoped for including the beautiful unseasonable weather. This small ship was new, well appointed, and had the best staff ever. If I had one complaint it would be the wifi on board. It was not free or secure, nor did it work well. The slow connection made it impossible to download a map, send pictures or emails, or book an online ticket for another site we wanted to visit outside of the shore excursions offered with our cruise. (The shore excursions were great, by the way, and the director on board was outstanding.) All in all, it was an extraordinary trip we will always treasure.

We had a wonderful multi-generational river cruise in the south of France. The service was 5 star from a professional and kind staff, the food and wine was exceptional, and the barge was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We got off and on the barge for day trips to explore the local villages and wineries as well as to walk or bike along the river route. We got to experience the locks with our personable and informative captain and all in all had a magnificent time.

My wife and I booked to cruise aboard the Kleopatra very last minute and were very happy with the help and assistance we received from Ruxandra. We boarded the boat and met a group of friends from Norway and had a lovely time with them and our other cruise mates. The weather and cruising were wonderful. We cruised south from Split along the outer islands and overnighted 3 nights down to Dubrovnik which is beautiful and very busy, then 3 nights up to Split. We really enjoyed the method of travel and being able to stop along the way to swim was a welcome relief.... We really liked our cruise director Zoran, bartender and server but were disappointed with the food and ship's sailing crew. Being a 5 star cruise we had hoped for a much better quality of food as we are onboard for almost every meal. The crew was initially friendly but soon after leaving Split made very little effort with the social niceties. They did starting asking about their tips 2 days prior to arriving back in Split. Arriving in Split we were asked to leave our rooms to be cleaned and asked to wait in the lower lounge and found that the owner had made the area his office and was in a somewhat loud phone conversation, all in all rather boarish...

I have booked and thoroughly enjoyed two trips now with eWaterways. The first was a group trip for myself and 15 friends on an island-hopping boat in the Adriatic, off Croatia, and the second was a riverboat cruise on the Seine in France. Although completely and totally different trips, they were both delightful. The Croatia trip also included add-ons from KL Lines for land portions in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro, and both land and sea elements went off without a hitch for our whole group! The week on the Seine on the Rosa-Viva, a German registered riverboat, was more straightforward in its logistics, but also went completely smoothly. It was wonderful! Don't be freaked out that you are printing your own "travel vouchers" from home; it works just fine! And since your name is already on file with the cruise company, the "travel vouchers" are kind of just back up anyway! On both trips we were met at arrival with someone from the boat with a clipboard who simply peeked at those vouchers but then checked off our names on a list! Perfect! EWaterways handled all the arrangements and we simply sent our money to them in U.S. dollars.

The company's representative followed through to make sure that our reservation on the Spirit of Chartwell was secure, after having been told that it may not sail. She found other alternatives, if that were the case. As for the trip itself, it was a fabulous experience. The hotel barge goes way beyond the "barge" nomenclature. She is yacht, with the uniqueness you do not find on the normal cruise ship. Food, accommodations and service were all top notch. We recommend The Spirit, Portugal and our booking agent, eWaterways.

This was a wonderful trip. We loved the small ship atmosphere, meeting folks from many countries, and the shore trips that were organized and those we did on our own. All arrangements were "spot on" and we had no problems. Most meals were included and were excellent. Cannot think of anything negative to comment.

This past spring I booked a 7-day cruise of the Dalmatian coast through ewaterways and I couldn't have been more pleased. The person I dealt with was very knowledgeable , helpful and patient. All information, forms and statements were professionally handled. I always felt welcome to call as often and with as many questions as I had. And I got exactly the kind of cruising experience I hoped for on a lovely small (only 32 passengers) ship. The line was Croatian. I would not hesitate to use ewaterways again.
