peaceful relaxing cruise

This is the break for you if you want excellent service by lovely staff, a comfortable environment, great food & drink and plenty of time to relax. Watching the very pretty scenery go by, allows lots of time to read novels or listen to music. If you like port - or even if not - you will come away with vast knowledge of the product. However, there is not much to see from a cultural or urban viewpoint, although the planners have obviously tried hard to provide as many experiences as possible, some certainly more interesting than others. The use of the specialist tour 'air box' equipment is excellent - especially as it means it is not necessary to regulate your pace to the one of the slowest participant … and given the average age of the passengers, things do not move quickly.
Probably the best part for me was not the cruise itself, but the extension in Lisbon at the beginning - an excellently located hotel, very helpful staff (very good walking tour) and overall a great experience.
The only real gripe is the depiction of the (admittedly small) pool on the deck - even though expectations were only for a 'plunge pool', as it is only about 12 inches deep, it was not even that - very disappointing on hot days.
