As soon as Aqua get wind that you may be struggling or that you only make minimum payments they will raise the interest rate, not just on future purchases but also on your current balance. This ensures they have a constant revenue from you making it more difficult for you to pay off your debt and ensures that your paying them for longer. This is because Aqua realize that you are unlikely to be able to transfer your balance to a card with a lower interest rate which makes you vulnerable. Avoid these vultures.
