I ordered my £2 credit report by post. After about a week I was sent a form asking me to supply two document confirming my identity. These were posted back to them, but I heard nothing for about 3 weeks. Rang up their rip off premium rate phone line and was told that they couldn't accept one of the documents I sent. I was told to upload a different document to their website (after registering a 'Support account' with them). About a week later I tried logging in to this 'Support account' but was informed that it had been deleted. Rang 'Customer support' again and was told they had no knowledge of the account and that I would have to wait for a response from their 'back office staff'. They are without doubt a bunch of amatuer (no make that professional) rip off merchants.

I completely agree. I spent 30 minutes paying for a call in which they said they wanted my entire credit history for the past 6 years!! They are in the Philippines and read from a script, which means that they are difficult to understand at times and totally ignorant of the way in which we love with credit cards in the UK.

I finally got her to agree to let me have my credit report if I could tell her al my credit cards and the limits in them. I had already logged in and already verified who I was on-line and on the phone but they want to keep you on the phone.

She also wanted to know why I wanted a report, which is none of their business, but also then ignored the answer and read again from a script in fast, Americansied accent with nonsense abot 'my worries' when all I said was I wanted to check that Santander had done what they had promised and removed a flag which was their error.

I wish I had NEVER bothered with them.
