Everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Beats dealing with large impersonal firms anyday. I will definitely look to see if I can use again in the future.

I found the site very easy to navigate, ultimately leading to what we looking for. The additional verbal customer service was brilliant. Including information about location and questions I asked. I will definitely be recommending this site and will be using it again in the future. My family and I can't wait to go now. More reviews will follow after the holiday. We have used Michael Paul now for two bookings and would not hesitate to recommend their service. We have stayed at Porthtowan and Redewater lodges, both sets of accomodation exceeded our expectations. Initially we used Michael Paul for a late booking, they were fantastic at meeting our requirements and very honest in respect of the development at Porthtowan. when we visited part of the development was under construction, however this did not impact on our holiday whatsoever, some holiday company's would not have even mentioned this. They obviously vet all their holiday lets personally and this has a massive impact on their knowledge and honesty in respect of the holidays they advertise. Excellent service wish more companies were the same!

This is not something I usually do but as I'd hate this so called agent to extort more money from unsuspecting victims here goes... I hired one of the properties with 7 of my friends for a birthday weekend away from our husbands and children. All of us are mid thirties and two of which were pregnant. If you had asked me and my guests at the end of the weekend if we'd had a nice time I would of said yes apart from numerous things that didn't work, and stains throughout the property(IE carpets and sofas) but we over looked this as it is a rental at the end of the day and you have to expect wear and tear. In fact several of my friends said they would love to go back and take their families. This was until we left that day, since then I have had nothing but hassle and stress from this company after their so called cleaner and i say this lightly as I'm pretty sure she does not quite understand her job title complained and took pictures of everything that she could possibly take pictures of, pedantic doe's not even come close, when I left the property I left it tidy and ready to be professionally cleaned, Since then I've had picture sent to me of a wipe clean table that was left unwiped, 3 glasses left next to the sink as the dish washer was on, a thumb size piece of hummus on the wipeable kitchen floor, a broken champagne bottle that i left out of the bin as so no one hurt themselves, a finger nail size piece of food on the carpet, the contents of the filter from the hot tub etc it goes on. It is absolutely pathetic, they are also trying to blame me and my guests for an old discolored stained futon that was already in this state when we arrived and the best bit is they now want £250 to cover so called damages they speak of. I find this absolutely discussing behavior the whole point of hiring a cottage away from home and paying a premium price is so you don't have the hassle of spending 2 hrs cleaning through making sure every crumb is gone at the end. Obviously I have this wrong on this occasion. I have a very strong suspicion he has done this before and will do again from the conversation I had with Micheal himself so be warmed it is not worth it, I've stayed in plenty of lovely places before with lovely people and never had an issue this is not one of them. It has truly ruined my whole experience, I now find myself pregnant and very stressed being threatened with a court case and trying to fight it. My friends and I will continue to tell everyone we meet about this situation to stop it happening again and again.

My husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law, 7 year old daughter, myself and our king charles spaniel, arrived on New Years Day at the Eco Lodges to celebrate my late mother-in-laws birthday as she sadly passed away just before christmas. It was the most perfect setting, relaxing, beautiful and perfect for a special family occassion. We all stayed in one lodge which was the perfect size, and had everything you could possibly need. We left feeling happy and relaxed. The staff were very friendly, the lodges perfect. Booked the lodge at short notice, hassle free, done quickly and efficiently. I will be using Michael Paul Holidays again, and I am looking forward to it. Thanks for making our stay so special.

We were looking for a new destination for a spontaneous family holiday in May and were very impressed with the general level of quality of the properties on the Michael Paul website. I gave the MP team a call to discuss our requirements and ask for a recommendation which of the properties still available during the relevant period of time would be the best fit for us. The team was a pleasure to deal with and extremely knowledgeable as far as their properties was concerned. Their pick for us was spot on and we were very pleased with their level of customer care, both before we left for our holiday as well as afterwards. Our holiday cottage was fantastic as well so we will definitely be back when next on the look out for a self-catering holiday in the UK.
