Just got off the phone to these guys (20/11/15) after 25 minutes on hold I was told my Van/camper quote would be somewhere between 2 and 4 grand! For an ambulance driver with a perfect driving record and 12 years no cliams.

The worrying thing was this company "The Van Insurer" had the same holding tone as Go Skippy insurance a company I used about 3 years ago. Something very fishy there indeed.

They quote you nearly double what you should be paying for your insurance. Then they can't explain why

Got a good quote from autonet insured with them for 9 months but then problematical in changing basis of cover and repaying unexpired portion of cover .

Would certainly avoid using them and by inference you as you deal with them .Have now gone to my car insurer who were slightly more expensive but much better to deal with .

I think this company is great, the forms are easy to fill in and it is all dealt with via the internet.

I found it hard to find insurance for my van because I do not use it for commercial use. the van insurer does it all. perfect will definitely use them again and have told my family and friends.

I was pretty skeptical over these comparison sites, the big three didn't really cut the muster - a lot of paid advertising if you ask me..

However, I wanted specific Van Insurance for my business, the Van Insurer had all the correct fields to populate [including trailer cover] and found competitive quotes.

Clear and concise, no repetition when I got to sellers website and a quick call later, some more haggling, [never just accept the best price - theres always margin..!] and the deal was done.

The buying experience was fine, no problems. Short amount of time (7days)to verify ncd from previous insurer as its not available until previous insurance has expired. As with all insurance its impossible to tell what you have purchased until its time to claim. Only then can a real rating apply after the efficiency of dealing with a claim can be assessed.

Therefore a review is only relevant if it comes from a claimant.

My four star rating is only relevant to the buying experience.
