I ordered a pair of shoes online, the payment was taken and I paid extra for a nominated day. I received no order confirmation or despatch confirmation. I logged into my account and no orders were shown, so I thought the order must not have gone through. I didn't wait in on my chosen day of delivery as I hadn't received any confirmation. Then at 6 pm on the designated day a local courier arrived with my parcel. Of course I was glad it did arrive and it saved me waiting in for 12 hours awaiting a delivery. Not impressed with the customer service and will not be ordering from evans again. It beats me why this day and age certain companies are using unreliable local couriers and not being able to give time slots and you're lucky if a courier turns up on that day. No confirmation was to have me believe no order or delivery would occur and therefore I may have wasted more money ordering elsewhere. Not good enough
